                                     hiatus notice!!

okay, so after a 30-odd hour flight & a bus trip in which the bus broke down due to ‘overheating’ despite it being 14 degrees celsius/57 degrees fahrenheit, i’ve finally arrived in northern ireland. i’m here for the next month or so, & whilst the house i’m staying in has internet, it’s not the fastest. plus, i’ll be busy helping out with wedding preparations, visiting family all over ni & ireland, so i’m going to be busy as fuck. naturally, this means a hiatus. i’ll still be active sporadically, but a full hiatus covers all my bases, especially during the road trip i’ll be taking ( as i’m not sure of the dates yet ). 

       hiatus:  saturday may 14  until  tuesday june 14.

THERE IS A SOFT INTAKE OF BREATH, O’ HOW LONG IT HAS BEEN SINCE HE HAS SEEN SUCH SOFT WHITE PURITY. the sight of the wings spark something in him- a longing, an a c h e, his own back feeling as though fire-sparks light along his spine. and all at once he FEELS it again, the sensation of F A L L I N G, of being torn and r i p p e d, of fire etching its way into his veins, the ENVY of wishing for something he doesn’t deserve. venire can only manage a shake of his head, the delicate cup in his hands suddenly feeling all to HEAVY for his shaking fingertips. ( you don’t d e s e r v e to touch something so lithe and docile, you deserve the grunge and smoke of your sinful demise. )  a slow breath release from the crevice of his lungs, the cup set aside, forgotten among the other items he had tossed there once upon a time. he wants to reach out to cass- and it is nigh time that he INDULGES in his desires. slowly, his hands lay against the warmth of cass’ arms, he draws c l o s e r, a mere few inches apart. eyes bore into his counterparts, his mind screaming, can’t you see how much i’ve missed you? how much i ache? how much i love you?

‘ but… why me… my sins are many, i don’t DESERVE forgiveness. ‘

cass watches, bright-eyed, tips of fingers playing with the cup they hold, venire’s reaction. they did not mean it as anything more than a habitual gesture, but now a feeling weighs heavy on their heart as they realise how such a gesture may have been taken. mouth opens to apologise, but venire’ hand - warm, inviting, homey - give them pause. soft gentle smile finds its way onto the angel’s face ( rarely is it absent ), & cassie returns venire’s gesture, though their hand sits feather-light on the other’s waist. blue gaze looks at venire before dropping slightly ( cassiel has a job to do ), but to do so is difficult - pretending nothing has changed is easier than acknowledging the gap in their time together. ❛     of course you are deserving of forgiveness. everyone makes mistakes. He has forgiven you.     ❜ slight frown forms in marble-cut brow ; why does venire seem so adamant to refuse this? doesn’t everyone want forgiveness from the Lord?
