It's been 2.5 years since I attempted suicide.
The beginning of this month I had one of the worst experiences of my life, and I could have let my thoughts consume me again... But I found my strength.
I found my strength in the support of my friends and family.
I found my strength despite needing transportation and typically getting anxiety when I drive. (I got myself a car, and I feel more confident.)
I found my strength despite having the daunting task of having to give up my lease, and having to pack up and move a whole apartments worth of belongings. (Thankful to those who helped me)
I'm finding strength in being "by myself".
I took the situation that would have made me the weakest, and am using it to make me stronger.
So find your strength, and try and hold onto it.
