So I was driving in the car yesterday with my mom, and the radio was on. The song “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera, which don’t really like or dislike. When the song ends, my mom says she likes that song because it is uplifting or something, but the next song comes on and is like “I CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES THIS IS MY LAST RESORT. SUFFOCATION, NO BREATHING, DON’T GIVE A FUCK IF I CUT MY ARM BLEEDING”

and I just absolutely lost it.

And now Herc is tall and strong and a real hero! And Ven… hasn’t grown up at all. He’s been asleep, untouched by time, for ten years. And meeting Herc could only serve to hammer that home, His friends all grew up and he’s left behind again.

And then! And then you have Phil. Phil who sees the blonde kid and yells “Roxas! Where ya been kiddo, I been looking all over for ya!” because he trained Roxas, he knew Roxas, and nobody ever told him what happened to Roxas because nobody knew he needed to know.

And Ven has to explain that he isn’t Roxas. Roxas was somebody who looked a lot like him, but Roxas isn’t around any more. Phil’s student won’t be coming back.
