Rain World fan caught making Rain World related art for the first time in 5 billion years

I locked in this afternoon and this part might just kill me.. again.. again… everything I draw kills me what else is new. But yeah, doing some good effortful fbf for this map part so its gonna take a lot longer than I previously thought… meaning I gotta prioritize my September projects instead lol. I’ve got… stares at my pile…. A few… it’s gonna be a lot but I can do it, I believe in the me that believes in me.

Thank god I have been able to quickly quash the burnout that was threatening to take hold I hardly worked on anything since I finished my part for AIZO (I’ll post a link to that vid here once I finish it and post it on my yt

So first off, I added Teto and Rei a few weeks ago and wowzers! Crazy considering there were like 3 or 4 other single people they could have liked but this is the best outcome

Then we got sona doodles because golly gee I love drawing Cade and drawing Cade reminded me of how much I love drawing Buddy! The last Cade doodle was well… supposed to be a doodle and then SMILE_OF_ABSOLUTE_DERANGEMENT started playing and it was so over

This one… I’m in a palette map right? And I was trying to find the best way to color everyone, but it’s so… well.. colorful that I decided fuck it we ball lets have fun so look at them look at how colors they are. Six is lowkey lookin like Michael from TMA LMAO

Cw for some blood and injury on this last one because I’m almost done animating with my Warriors of the Deep MAP part!!! I just gotta shade Five on this first shot and then boom! Sometimes I want to push him down a flight of stairs

What He Doing.

I thankfully was able to recover my file and wasn’t set too far back, so besides some shadows I need to add and maybe an arbitrary blink animation, I have the second half of this map part finished! Yes the Turlough image is in fact from this fabled map part I’m working on. I just gotta lock in and animate the first half of doom and despair.

This is going to be my third completed Fifth Doctor part how awesome!! Gonna hit up a short 4 second part and then lock in on my other Animals part. Thankfully everyone is going to be too busy doing artfight so I have the month to keep grinding out parts I owe to people. Cuz I got quite a few parts due in September so yuuup we gon do it. Despite some attempted hits at my energy levels, my motivation for art has never been higher! So look forward to more silly update posts like these. Maybe I’ll also work on actually turning that Adachi Rei doodle into an actual piece… We’ll see. That’s enough from me now however! See yall later

Power went out while working on a map part and I am praying that krita autosaved because good lord. The secret government didn’t want me working on my Fifth Doctor Warriors of the Deep animation, it’s true.

Currently sitting in pure darkness, soley illuminated by my phone, and because I’m mad, he goes down The Hole.

Wish I could share it with better quality but the file is on my computer which currently does not work due to the aforementioned power outage.

The blue border is just marking the outside of the frame because having extra wiggle room on your canvas is really nice I recommend. Anyways I’m gonna go die now bc it’s way too late.

Meet Cade! Secondary sona bc sometimes Buddy is a little too silly for things sometimes. I wrote most of the info on the ref sheet including inspo (thank you Adachi Rei for finally pushing me to make a robot sona it was extremely overdue). I've always found myself heavily relating to robot characters in media, so finally, its been made. Monumental honestly considering I've had Buddy by my side for 8-9 years at this point. Time sure does fly haha.... Okay enough yap here they areeeeee

I have of course put them on my artfight. I won't link that unless requested bc I'm not going to be really active on artfight this year. I wanna focus on making map parts lol. But yeah that's the guy! The them! Yippee!

Well this is unexpected. I made a new sona! Very spontaneously might I say, but I really like them, and they are going to make for a great secondary sona. I've had Buddy with me for.. oh god 8-9 years??? How does the time pass like that. Insane. So making a new sona like this is kind of monumental, but also, I should have seen it coming a long time ago. I have related with so many robot characters in media that having a sona who is a robot was bound to happen

I've only done the lineart today so I will try to figure out coloring tomorrow!

She's kind of like- not a polar opposite of Buddy, but like- holds everything else from me that Buddy isn't about. Buddy is very much an exaggeration of my silliness and naivity put into a silly lil guy, while Cade is probably going to hold a lot of the more serious me stuff. He absolutely will get to be silly, don't worry. But yknow, if I ever post something more serious, I'll probably use Cade.. Yeah! I'll show off the rest of their ref and throw it onto artfight for my friends when I finish the ref!!! Yippee
