I've been working my ass off lately and I was thinking of pampering myself a bit. Plus the fact that my back is killing me, demanding for a well-deserved massage, I finally gave in.
I checked some deals online for massage and remembered Wensha Spa. I had a good experience before with my friends and and I say, why not?
I also saw a Metrodeal offer for 756 pesos for a total of 3-hour stay, with 1 hour massage and free use of their sauna and bath with complimentary buffet. Good deal right? So I called and booked for Sunday.
So here I am, done with my lunch, just waiting for the body massage. I also added a combo of body wash along with my 1-hour massage and I paid extra 320 pesos but I also get an additional 2 hours, not bad!
So, I had my body wash and boy, I think I was able to shed half of my weight! Just kidding! But I felt lighter and cleaner.
I rest for a bit and went on with my massage, I don't have much expectation because sometimes, it's a hit or miss. It's either a good or bad experience. There were also times that its just an experience, nothing worth remembering.
My right shoulder is really aching and I wasn't able to fully stretch it so I pointed out to the masseuse that this part is a pain point, thankfully, she listened and really concentrated on that part. It was a "frozen shoulder" according to her. She recommended to have it checked if possible every week, but maybe next month. I felt a bit of relief however, I still need to continue to have it checked.
All in all, I enjoyed my "Me Time" and I am really hoping to do it again this July.
