Mt Major- my 25th birthday
I was going through a heavy period of growth and finding out what kind of life I wanted to provide for myself when I decided to really get into the outdoor world. My partner and I had decided to separate after three years and after I had moved from California to New Hampshire with him. I was so close to going back to what I knew before but... I went for a hike instead. Then another one. And a few more after that. I started rock climbing outdoors and tried out a few indoor climbing gyms. I learned how to paddle board and bought my own tent. I fell in love with myself again through falling in love with the outdoors. I used to think that because of the things I have done in my past, I was limited to the person I could grow to be. I’m so glad I know that’s not true. It can be a struggle sometimes because the people I’m closet with aren’t as passionate about the outdoors as I am, but there’s a huge online community of women supporting women in their outdoor adventures and I’m excited to be apart of that.
Whitehorse Ledge- all my favorite colors
fun fact about this picture- Nick was driving and I was riding passenger and I happened to snap this picture as he was driving past!
Gonic Trail - A favorite shorter trail near by that I absolutely love going to. It’s gorgeous during all seasons and easy to navigate through if you’re going for a beginner solo hike.
