It's honestly really disappointing to see that you and some of the other blogs are willing to allow Sawyer to get away with some of the exact same actions you all have criticized Salem for doing. Salem and Sawyer are cut from the exact same cloth, and neither one should be treated any differently from the other if they are going to behave the exact same way.

If you're going to hold Salem accountable for whatever his partner(s) do, then you also need to hold Sawyer accountable for what his partner(s) do publicly. Neither of his partners actually took the proper precautions to lock down their Twitter accounts, as anyone was and STILL ARE able to see the nasty content they repost and engage in.

Also, if you're going to (rightfully) criticize Salem for claiming that he engages in his taboo interests through fictional means as a way to cope, then it's hypocritical of you not to do the same thing with Sawyer. Sawyer is an adult and can find better, more healthy coping mechanisms. Being a victim is not, and will never be, an excuse to engage with fictional content depicting children or animals in sexualized manners.

Please grow a back bone and stop allowing people who behave like Salem to get away with their actions just because they aren't Salem. It really sends off the message that you people only do this because Salem is the mythical Puppychan, and not because you actually believe what he's doing is gross and needs to be talked about.

Is it so hard for Salem to just apologize. This is addressing one situation partly, sure. He's still behing extremely vague as to what happened to cause Andi/Adonis/Kyu/Kung-Fu Revvy to "split" and who his groomer is, which the groomer in question is his and Sawyer's ex named Torin who Salem kept defending even after Salem apparently got groomed at 19. Torin was grooming literal minors, teenagers from aged 15-17, and Salem knew, and didn't care and even defended her. Thats why Sawyer called him out in the first place. But so much other stuff came up in the middle of it that it made it hard to just focus on one thing.

One of these minors asked Salem for advice on drawing and posting nsfw publicly, and called Salem "mom"/"mommy" which was not discouraged but Salem vented on his private about instead. Salem assisted in this. He was called out. Deactivated. Made @/kungfurevvv to escape having to apologize for anything. Roleplayed as Asian. Was caught. Deactivated. Came onto main to "apologize", but did the same thing he did here except was more mask off about not being sorry for the broken English. He blamed everything on callmegreen TWICE, on Twitter and then 4 years later on Bluesky. Salem blamed a fucking 15 year old for what Salem chose to do, all because he was caught.

The ONE thing out of a million that we've asked him to just own up to and apologize for. This just creates new issues. Because again, he didn't apologize. He just over explained HIS reasoning for the racism. "Salem draws himself several shades lighter than he actually is" i think thats just color theory. salams self portraits are usually on a white background. Colours surrounded by a background thats lighter than them will appear darker. So yes if you color pick his self portaits and his selfies and then compare them, the portraits will be lighter, but i dont think its a fair comparison

most of the photos he has posted of himself are also against white backgrounds. you can find photos of salems actual face and compare to how he draws himself. It is not a matter of lighting and anyone that uses their eyeballs will notice that. also i think you made a typo.

My art is the last 2. I did the red piece on the 21st and the other one yesterday.

This is too uncanny bro. I did a test and redid a drawing of my fursona before he colored the sitting one of his wolf OC to see smth and this guy does the same exact dark/lighter fur pattern I do with my fursona. (The cheek pattern)

The neck ruffles he’s NEVER done and the fur tufts he’s never exaggerated— he loves making furries look smooth! If he doesn’t the tufts are always awkwardly placed especially near the elbows.

He is NOT slick with the sudden use of using limited colors… also he’s never shaded his necks like that before! Now all of a sudden he is? I do harsh lighting for neck shading, that is my style. I do exaggerated fur, that is my style.

I'm considering never again addressing Salem's art unless it specifically has something offensive/racist/or pedophilic about it, because I now believe he is making mistakes on purpose in his art to get people here to correct him so he has ammo to make people believe they only dislike him due to how his art looks and presents, which then translates as disliking the trans positive and black positive core part of the art.

I'm a fat black trans man who actually has the exact bodytype his fursona has in his pinned post, who draws essentially similarly to Salem so I never really considered that was what he was doing. I used it as sorta a way to "prove" Salem reads everything about him, including his callouts on his abusive tendencies, but at this point does it matter. We have enough proof that he knows his actions are wrong and we have proof that he goes out of his way to look at anything criticizing him. He replies on art discourse to cover everything up. His followers don't actually care about anything but art, so overposting anything "bad" about his art will set them off and make them deny looking at anything else you said because you come off as biased.

I'm not gonna ask others to do the same, but I think I myself am done and I do encourage others to keep art talk about the subjects I listed above. I'm just going to post things that genuinely matter because I think I also come off as just a plain "hater" who does it because I'm anti-black, racist, or transphobic, rather than someone whos been upset repeatedly by him and has enjoyed his art in the past and finds ways to critique him.
