A lovely idea poped up! Many of my patrons buy my kanzashi as gifts intended for loced ones (do seasonal) or as collectibles. So I will be adding these cards as box inserts - inside the lid. Happy Easter! A couple of free days made it possible for me to go through my workshop and dig out some exciting textiles! I did not remember having them since I stacked them away in plastic boxes. Found this beautiful tiny piece of dark peacock blue and thought it was perfect for trying to make a sizeable multi-layered piece. I usually made my shidare pieces of a maximum of two layers. This one has four! :) I managed to mend my airbrush (yeah, it's no wonder it didn't work if I managed to lose the nozzle!), but this particular piece is done 100% by hand! I started making it while waiting for the lost part to arrive. Still, it came out nice and even. I missed making those big pieces so much, and I'm happy to get back to making traditional pieces.
