When people accuse your witchcraft of Satanism acting as though it’s this huge evil thing.

Satanism, in its texts, is not an evil and harmful practice. They aren’t sacrificing animals and scribbling demon scripts on walls, and it’s not an insult to compare them to us, it’s just uneducated to.

They have man caves and don’t like to hurt things while constantly questioning their self worth.

That’s not all there is to CoS Satanism of course - when you dig a little further much of it’s based on Ragnar Redbeard’s “Might Is Right or The Survival Of The Fittest”, mashed up with Ayn Rand & Friedrich Nietzsche. Although they say they’re apolitical, their philosophy is fairly inherently from the same sources as the far-right. That’s not the only modern, atheistic Satanism out there - since 2013 or so there’s also The Satanic Temple, whose 7 Tenets are as follows:  1. One should strive to act with compassion and empathy towards all creatures in accordance with reason.

2. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

3. One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.

4. The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one’s own.

5. Beliefs should conform to our best scientific understanding of the world. We should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit our beliefs.

6. People are fallible. If we make a mistake, we should do our best to rectify it and remediate any harm that may have been caused.

7. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

TST Satanists tend to see it as only natural that if you’re going to live the tenets, you will end up getting involved in political campaigns to support human rights, women’s shelters, separation of church and state and so on - left-leaning, progressive politics.  Of course, then there are the Luciferians, who see Lucifer as an actual deity, bringing enlightenment to humanity, and there are other theistic Satanic groups that are full on goat-sacrificers, but I think their membership is like under a dozen. CoS & TST are the two most widespread Satanic organisations currently.

Reminder that I only ranted because of an ask that was plagued with assumptions and accusations. I would never complain about life stuff for sympathy because it’s stupid to let bad pasts define you. I don’t deserve a lot, nothing really, but no one “deserves” bad things happening to them as long as they’re trying to be the best person they can. Just try to be a good person and take a breather before going off on someone you don’t know.

Hey artsy followers pls help

Hey so like I gave this whole clay thing a shot and I’m just wondering if any of my lovely followers can tell me who created polymer clay and how I can go back in time to kill them. Why this stuff so SENSITIVE like I breathe in the other room and it gets waves. I touch it once and suddenly it looks like I dropped it.

But like does anyone know what I can use to create a more solid shiny layer? My cheap ass used nail polish and like it’s fine but it doesn’t feel durable at all.
