I’m sorry,can you explain this more thoroughly? I’m not saying you’re particularly wrong but as far as i know he is trying to make claire and the others survive by restarting the timeline over and over again.Of course i’m not saying he’s doing his job right because if he had killed claire just once,he could’ve saved her a long time ago.But he’s not doing that because he can’t bring himself to.He is very stupid and a coward but i don’t understand why you decided to choose the words “Selfish” and “Bad” to describe him.

*i crack my fingers* hi im noel levine witchsheart-wiki and im here to lay down the Facts

Noel is a selfish character because we see him strive years to save Claire, and only Claire. You may call that heroism, but every time Sirius dies? Noel doesn’t bat a fucking eyelid, he would throw Sirius under a bus for Claire and that’s VERY obvious even if he won’t outright admit it; he wants to think he’s doing the right thing, after all and in a way he is he’s just going about it wrong. He wants Claire to be alive out of his OWN ambition. His OWN wants. Everything, from the very start of the loops, has been about Noel. It doesn’t matter what Claire wants, if Noel wants her alive, he’ll do everything he can because it’s all for what he wants. You gave yourself your answer “if he had killed Claire just once” but he won’t, because it’s not what he wants. We see Noel constantly trying to justify his actions and lack-of action throughout the game too, in the form of his dialogue.

Noel’s ambition in keeping Claire alive is all in the thought process of himself and what benefits him.

He might not want to kill someone for a wish, but he’d happily keep someone alive if it means securing his own happiness, because once again it’s all about him. The only reason he won’t take the option to kill everyone to save Claire is because he can’t be the one with blood on his hands. He doesn’t want that guilt, he just wants the positive repercussion of Claire being alive.

Also, Noel shouldn’t be called shit like soft because its babying victims of abuse and other shit I’m not going to get into as a victim of assault and parental abuse (which we see Noel is also both of these things) myself.

The Witch's House MV

The Witch’s House MV, a remastering of the original The Witch’s House in RPG Maker MV, is now available on Steam.

The young Viola visits a mysterious house in the woods. She soon discovers its dangerous nature and must find a way out. But the house is ever-changing, and death could be lurking anywhere…

This new version comes with many improvements. The graphics have been completely overhauled in a higher resolution, and some elements have been reworked. Also, this release uses my classic translation, but with many improvements and corrections from working closely with an editor.

While the original difficulty remains, a new easier mode has been added that allows for quick retries after a death. And after completing the game’s true ending, the Extra difficulty is unlocked, featuring new puzzles, deaths, and story details.
