Right-wing media says that under communism, you don't own anything, so hate communists; however, we don't own anything anymore under late-stage capitalism. Either your house or apartment is rented, or you have a mortgage, meaning that if you don't pay, you get thrown out. Your phone, as well not only are you still paying it off but you have to pay the bill to keep it going, furniture unless you got it second-hand you could be paying it off, music you have playlists on spotify but you don't own the music like you would if you had a cd or record. With movies and shows, you pay for a streaming service, but you don't own the media, like if you had a VHS or DVD. We currently own nothing and pay for it with everything
