                          “Well… his clothes would always be the perfect color for the season?” Billy tried, smiling just a little. Last time he met another witch, it hadn’t gone well and he decided he did not her at all. But Carter was nice and she seemed much less judgmental about his crazy magic. “What about you, got a super neat and quirky natural magic?” He hoped he used that right. Most of this stuff took a while for him to wrap his head around.

              Carter’s face falls at the question, but she does her best to conceal it by dumping a particularly potent ingredient into the pot just hastily enough that it billows an obscene amount of smoke out the top. It’s not quite enough to fully conceal her bitter expression, but it’s enough to distract from it. “I prefer recipes and learned magic myself. More reliable.”

          Kyara probably wasn’t expecting giggles when she kicked Carter in the side, but giggles was exactly what she got. She’d only been half-asleep to begin with, having roused when Kyara started shuffling around on the bed and only barely started to doze off again, so she’s quick to devolve into a squirming, giggling mess at the not-so-gentle nudges. Peeking her eyes open only when the bite catches her full attention, Carter batted Kyara’s feet away before cuddling closer to the other girl, hiding her face against Kyara’s neck. 

         “Hey, now. I wouldn’t call the girl who gave you multiple orgasms just last night a loser. I am totally game for IHOP, though.”

         In the end, though, Carter is giggling too hard to bother with retribution, just gripping the cushion to her chest and shaking gently with laughter. She’s obviously a little drunker than she should be, too.
