Name: Emmeline Duke, although you will address me as Thaumaturge Duke.
Pronouns: She/her
Gender: Female
Age: Don't you know not to ask a lady her age? (25)
Lore: What on Luna are you talking about? (She became a thaumaturge pretty young, only recently becoming a second rank thaumaturge instead of a third rank. One of her first assignments was to punish Natalie Gordon @totally-sane-refugee for disobeying the curfew several times. The hope was that sending a thaumaturge would send even more of a message. She has two snaggle-tooth canines that resemble the fangs of a spider when she smiles)
Face:

Hello! This oc blog is gonna be open to full fledge rps and simple asks, just like the rest of mine. Fair warning, however, she is going to be a bad person. Most thaumaturges in The Lunar Chronicles, if not all, are not good people
This, like my other blogs, is open to crossover rp. If you are not familiar with the lore of The Lunar Chronicles, most Lunars are able to manipulate people with their bioelectricity. Thaumaturges are particularly good at this. They can make others move in certain ways, they can push thoughts and feelings into people, and they can make things seem not as they are. They can make themselves look and sound completely different, and change what items look like, too.
I won't ever have her control a character without the express permission of a mod, but just know that that's a thing lunars can do.
She looked up from where she was sitting, several computer parts laying around and a pried open device of some kind in front of her. Tech of this era wasn't nearly as good as it was in her era, but maybe she could beef up this computer enough to be sub-par. "Yes?"
"Are you interested in a lover?" He shot out his hands, realizing a second too late how that sounded. "Not me. There's this fae asking for a dame, and the anons said I should ask you, and I said I'm pretty sure you're not considered a dame because you're not married, but they said ask you anyway. So here I am."
"No," she responded immediately. "I am not interested in becoming the partner of a creature I know nothing about." Perhaps she could use more connections to help her get around and reach her goals, but if an anon suggested it, it was most likely bad news.
"Yeah. Fair enough. It's- I mean, it's a fae. Mischievous things. Always tricking someone. Can't imagine how one would act toward a lover. Maybe they'd be nice, or maybe they'd enslave you and call it romance. Can never be sure with those things. Every one of them is different, too."
"Being a slave is not something I would want. Such a position is beneath me." She turned up her nose. "Even if I was interested in such frivolous things, it would not be with an unknown creature like this."
Edan wrinkled his nose, but decided to ignore the slave part. "Yeah, agreed. Having a girlfriend or boyfriend is kinda stupid. It's all the same stuff you would've done anyway."

After a moment of looking for the anon so she might get to wring its throat, she reluctantly turned towards the goddess with a scowl. It made sense that someone as annoying as Edan would follow a goddess like her. Always so weird about glamors. She didn't respond, only glowering.
"When would they ever listen? It appears they do just the opposite." She crossed her arms. "And before you get suspicious again, I am not using my glamor. I don't know why it was such a crime to do so in the first place."
"I see. Perhaps I should've told them the opposite of what I wanted, then. It was not a crime. I was just curious how you're able to do glamors, and was a bit excited when it was confirmed."
"Am I back in America?" She asked. She supposed it was good she didn't have many things she would miss in that house if she couldn't go back. She had her uniform, and she could always find more clothes. The gift proved more than helpful in this place. She could manipulate any normal Earthen with no consequences to herself. She didn't even need to figure out the currency.
"Yes. I can help you find Edan if you like, he can bring you back." She glanced around, more of an attempt at looking more human than she is. She already knew where Edan was, she's a goddess, his goddess. She knows these things.
"I would rather spend as little time dealing with him as possible. He is very annoying." And threatening, but he did annoy her greatly. "Besides. At least here, they mostly speak English. I don't speak French."
She shook her head. "I don't think so. Everything I had there could be easily replaced, luckily for me. Though, I'm not sure how much he wants me here."
She looked around, trying to figure out where she was and where she should go. She didn't quite understand Edan. They had similar powers, it seemed, and she didn't doubt he used them in the same way. Was it because of how she treated Natalie? Honestly, who would like a traitor like that? Arriving here was probably the first time she saw Natalie in years, and even that short time was enough to show her how much more of a nuisance she was after five years had passed. She was clearly out of her mind. Still, as long as she stayed out of their hair, she was fine. She just had to keep searching for someone who could take her back home.
She smiled. "It seems you're better oriented now. Unfortunately, I'm quite busy, so I must be off. Edan should be somewhere around this house, though. He usually is." Amana disappeared.
She froze in her tracks when she heard Edan's voice. She felt his pressence far before then, but she still hoped she would be lucky enough to leave before he came.
"One of those gray things put me here. Whatever they are called. Believe me, I didn't purposefully come here."
"Ah. I hate anons." He shook his head. "Annoying little critters. How was Paris, hm?"
He asked casually, walking in the direction of the door. He's pretty sure she doesn't want to be here any more than he wants her here, so he figured she'd follow him.
"It was... pleasant," she decided. "A good bit of respite from the bitter cold. But I still don't speak French. It's hard to place thoughts into people's minds when you don't speak the language."
