A horror ARG about archiving the creative endeavors of an alternate Americas past and present. Together these mascots, paintings, artists, puppeteers, paint the canvas of history with the brush of horror and human connection.

What inspired your art?
Al Columbia, Fleischer toons, horror stories are my muse.
Your post was criticizing idolization/sweatshop labor/plastic waste. Does this mean you hate artists?
And fandom and Hollywood and small businesses too.
Have you considered that companies are the majority of the cause for plastic waste and sweatshop labor?
Yes! However you should not do business with sweatshop labor even if you’re less than 1% of the problem. Because sweatshop labor is inhumane and a violation of human dignity + increases suffering in the world. You should still minimize your footprint.
the "empathy fatigue" stuff is also very revealing because when you examine health professionals' self-reporting on the matter there is a specific type of person they describe losing empathy for- unsurprisingly, it's people with particularly chronic health issues and disability, drug users, people who "refuse to take care of themselves" and especially anyone with a health condition perceived to be "their own fault". very often what they describe as "empathy fatigue" is actually just the mask slipping on the seething contempt they already held

Now, I feel as though I should perhaps say something more than this, so I shall. Truthfully it has been so fun and incredible getting to contribute to this project. Each update motivates and inspires me to work harder on my art and personal stories. I'm more than grateful to have been given such an amazing opportunity to work on something like this. It's a one of a kind project! Admittedly I'm not the best at articulating how I feel, but I hope these words are enough to express how happy Pendog makes me and just how much it inspires me!

I had the chance to exercise and challenge my skills for the most recent special, wonderful Pendog update! That first piece took me about 24 hours across a month to complete, but I’m very glad with what I accomplished in regard to rendering the lady ^w^
