anyways, I'm still so angry over that Deadline article about Disney nuking Ncuti Gatwa's era of Doctor Who because of "woke" (not even kidding), because they received "overwhelming" feedback that the show was "too woke" for international audiences. hey everyone. i know a lot of you have also come to love nora through my posts and pictures. i'm sorry to say it wasn't good news and there isn't much we can do; this is one of those health issues where once it's noticeable, it's not getting better. today seemed to be the first day it was bothering her but it was going to be her best day from now on, and i didn't want her to suffer & be confused. nora said goodbye peaceful and feeling safe, resting on my shoulder in her favorite spot.

thank you all for loving her with me. hug your animals a little tighter for me, and if you feel like it, leave a glass of water out for nora as she goes.

I’m saddened to learn of Marjane Satrapi’s death because I thought she was an important author but after reading your posts about her I now don’t know what to think and I’m also second guessing a lot of it. I was always a little skeptical that she said she was in exile in Europe yet she managed to return without problems. Come to think of it I’m not surprised the French loved her either 😭😭

Yea, that's coz it was self imposed exile. Her family is wealthy. They vacation abroad all the time. If people pay attention to Persepolis (I have the copies I can point which volume and where) one of the first thing she lamented about losing once the Revolution started is their ability to vacation here and there and buying things from the West

And they have servants which is also noted in the book.
