Back Up Your Tumblr Blogs

I’m sure we’ve all seen the Tumblr banned words list and have even started to see blogs disappear just like when Tumblr did this in 2018. I don’t want to see more blogs ruined by censorship happening on this platform. So, if you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to BACKUP your blogs!

It’s free and easy to do on Wordpress. Plus, Wordpress saves all your tags and whatnot so you can easily navigate through all your content. Here’s how:

Make a Wordpress Account

Create your blog name

Pick a theme (not crucial and you can change it)

You should be taken to your Wordpress Admin

Go to tools on the left hand sidebar.

Select import.

On the import screen, click to see the full list.

Connect your Tumblr and choose which blogs you’d like to import.

This article explains it pretty well and offers other options.

Depending on how many posts you have, it can take a while. It took a few hours to import over 4,000 posts from my blog. But, all my story posts, pictures, dialogue, and even tags uploaded to posts in Wordpress.

Save your hard work and back up today if you can! Happy to help if anyone needs it!

It's once again December and your sim gets a phone call from their family. They've been invited home for their family's festivities. But what should they wear? Dress a sim up for their trip back home for the holiday season!

Submit your simmie's holiday get up on my Discord server! Entries will be voted on from December 19-23 and the winner will get early access to one of my upcoming sets of their choice! Head on over to my discord server to get all the deets, submit your CAS styling, and join in on the fun!

Kassova Sectional - Basegame Modular Seating

I really love having another option for making sofas. But unfortunately they aren’t basegame because of the chaise and corresponding base mesh needed to make them. I did discover that the tuning was base game when I made my initial designs, but without the required base mesh with it’s unique groups, there wasn’t a way to make a base game version. Alistu on tumblr worked with some other simmers to create a base game file for creators to use to achieve what was potentially possible. Because the chaise is not BGC, the goal here was then making a design I felt would work without a chaise for those without Dream Home Designer. I think I struck the right balance and very happy with the end result.
