These videos all over the hotel of various parts of the world are nothing short of fascinating. People are stopping by and posing for pictures in front of them like mad. So much more humane and fun than caged live animals some resort hotels have. Books I bought at Sundance Books yesterday. I always go to the local section of every indie bookstore first so I can get books I likely won't find elsewhere. That's the best thing about local indie stores, right! So, I found a book about ghosts of Tahoe, and a collection of essays by a popular local writer, Erin Meehan Breen. I found others as well but I know I'm going back with a bag full of books from the conference so I had to limit myself :) #RT18 #indiebookstore #bookstagram (at Sundance Books and Music)

Yesterday we toured the Mustang Ranch, the oldest licensed brothel in the US. Prostitution is of course legal in Nevada. It was a really nice, clean place with lovely art work on the walls, and our tour guides - women who worked there - were very infomative, very smart women. The men have to undergo a kind of rigorous-sounding exam before using their services! And there are doctors on site for the women too. We couldn't take pictures but I brought back a little souvenir! #RT18 (at Mustang Ranch Brothel)
