Please, please show your support for Kashmir. Keep Kashmir in your thoughts and prayers but as well as that please spread the word, and speak up against the atrocities that are taking place. There is no way for Kashmiris to communicate with the outside, we’re only getting occasional updates from my uncle and its chaos there. Kashmir has been suffering under the hands of India for so long and too long, and has never ever received the appropriate response or recognition from the international community. This is my land, my people, my heritage, my family.

Hello, at the moment India is suppressing all protest and communication from Kashmir to the outside so there is little we know about the situation as it develop. For now the best thing to do is share information, speak up about it, show your support and solidarity and educate yourself on the issue- the more support we can garner from the international community, the better. There are currently vigils and protests being organised in London as far as I’m aware. Maybe see if there’s anything similar happening in your area?
