Lyra lounged on the steps of cabin 12, absently swirling her flask before taking a slow sip. She did her best to pretend that its contents had even a splash of alcohol. She exhaled, annoyed, watching the campers bustle around, their laughter and chatter grating against her already frayed nerves. With a sigh, she leaned back on her elbows, tilting her face toward the sky. Maybe, just maybe, today would be a quiet one, maybe her pain wouldnt be unbearable. But she doubted it.

"Hello." Elliot squats down swiftly behind her, a twinkle in their eye as they grin. "Is that alcoholic? I hope it is. I need something flammable."

She exhaled, annoyed, watching the campers bustle around, their laughter and chatter grating against her already frayed nerves. With a sigh, she leaned back on her elbows, tilting her face toward the sky. Maybe, just maybe, today would be a quiet one, maybe her pain wouldnt be unbearable. But she doubted it.

Rory had commandeered the kitchen, (either in the big house or the palace whichever you want) and had music blasting from her phone while she started to make cookies. She wasn't the best bakery but it was fun right? She liked to bake anyways so she did. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun and she was just dancing around signing while she made the cookies

As Alex runs out of her cabin in a hurry, she bumps into Elliot, causing both of them to fall. Grimacing, she got up and brushed her pants off before offering her a hand. "Sorry. I just realized I forgot to bring my trident back from the training arena. Haven't met you before," she raised an eyebrow. "Alex Ruiz. Daughter of good ol' Barnacle Beard. Pleasure." - @oceans-corals-and-poisons (heheh new character ; new attempt at rizzing elliot haha)

"Hm- ouch." The brunette winces at the light scratch on her knee (she should stop wearing shorts everywhere), but still manages to find a joke. "Guess you can say you- ow- fell for me. And I guess you can call me Felliot. Because we. Because we fell."

Alex blinks at her, before chuckling. "Guess I did fall for you. Or on you. Whatever. " she said, pulling out a bandaid from seemingly nowhere and kneeling to put it on Elliot's knee. "Who wouldn't when you look so sweet?"

"Sweet is the last thing people think when they look at this face," she states, watching Alex tend to her knee. She was used to scars, but the gesture was appreciated, nonetheless.
