Veela are Common People

Veela do not recognise blood quantum. Therefore, any character with veela heritage is considered a full veela.

Veela have the ability to generate desire for themselves in others, whether it be sexual, romantic or platonic. The desire invokes a need to please and remain near the veela and victims will often act irrationally to achieve this.

When angry or threatened, veela are able to transform into a condor-headed creature, with scales instead of feathers. The transition from human is disturbing both to experience and to witness.

How strong a veela's powers are will vary from person to person, but they do not diminish simply because of a generation gap.

The Halcyon

The Halcyon is a social club set in the picturesque English countryside.

Despite pressure to change with the times, membership remains exclusive to pureblood wix. However halfbloods and even muggleborns may attend events or join members on the grounds by invitation.
