The funniest thing about the All Star Weekend for me was how it was the inverse of last year in a specific respect. Paige showing Gabby love in her ig ASW26 posts reminded me of Gabby and Marine being coined “Evil Azzi” and “Evil Paige” lol so this year feels like a spotlight reversal:

Side 1: Gabby and Marine were lowkey hiding keeping a low profile and now this year they are doing interviews doing the unrivaled coffee shop stuff give bits into their relationship. Doing the carpet together. All that jazz

Side 2: this year Paige and Azzi barely seen together. Compared to all the content from ASW last year and even a WAG talk video lol. Crazy lol.

Hi anon I reblogged my og post with a screenshot of your ask and listed a bunch of time stamps. I still highly recommend watching the full interview. It was really good. But I figured I’d share this little clip from it where Paige talks about this overanalyzed era of social media. (I couldn’t add videos to a reblog so I just threw a gif ay the end of the other post with this ask).

I am a tad bit annoyed that everyone is talking about Paige and Azzi breaking up because they were intentionally avoiding being seen together on the studbudz live stream but no one is talking about Paige’s interviews from this same time frame

She literally makes a gay joke about Azzi having great hands

She talks about how much she dislikes being perceived and how her actions get misinterpreted and specifically references the chatter about her speaking life into Azzi during the Liberty game

I want to see more clips of this interview in posts rather than all the think pieces about when they broke up made out of nothing

Azzi is a rookie and has had to deal with dumb narratives that she didn’t earn her number one pick and is only on the wings because she’s with Paige. Paige has tried really hard to separate herself from Azzi in the public eye so they wouldn’t feed that narrative. It is all very obvious and very intentional.

Also the people who are reading into anything from the studbudz stream have never been to a club in their life. It is just dancing. It’s not that serious.

This is a job and these girls are young trying to navigate this extreme level of attention. Stop reading so much into things.

None of it was fanfic at all. I watched the livestream in real time and I heard Court in real time. I saw Jess and AC after Azzi won. I saw a video of Paige literally running to the UC and then saw the video of her messing with Azzi knocking the ball out of her hand after she got there.

I watched a lot of the videos from ASW (too much if I’m being honest). But nothing I saw really made me think they weren’t together. Just didn’t want to be on stream. That’s why I laid it all out.

Be serious guys they avoided each other all weekend because exes dont hang out. And paige did bumble interview says everything

Avoided each other on livestream lolol despite multiple people talking to each other about the other to them (Courtney to Paige after the all star game asking Paige to tell her shawty to bring the bad bitches like Bridget Carleton who Azzi was hanging out with and Court was feeling, T to Azzi outside the club asking where Paige is and Azzi said she’s sleep, T to the stream when she said I’m not cheating on Paige after twerking on Azzi, T to Paige when she acted like she didn’t know her told her to keep her hands to herself because t was on stream at the club and Paige was standing with Azzi and tried to get T’s attention)

All that after Paige explicitly said in an interview on the orange carpet she was going to avoid being on stream as much as possible.

Paige just dropped a photo dump that showed her with people Azzi was seen with a short while later and she ran to catch Azzi’s 3pt contest and joked around with her while she was practicing, she playfully called the bookclub the nerd club and then said in that same bumble interview she likes to see “educated” in a dating profile.

Everyone that hangs with them looks to the other to see their reaction to the other’s successes (Jess and AC after the 3pt contest, a freakin Paige cam during Azzi’s first round of the 3pt contest.

Like come on yall. Read what they are trying to do and chill out.
