Taking HQ Screenshots without SRWE*

A while back, @glittermutt posted this great tutorial on how to change your NVIDIA settings to allow you to take higher resolution screenshots as an alternative to using SRWE. It worked like a charm for a while, but recently I've found that it no longer does. After some sleuthing, I found a different method for enabling DSR, so I thought I would write a new tutorial. If you're only just learning about this, I still recommend trying the original tutorial first, as I'm not sure if that method has stopped working altogether or just in certain cases.
1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel. If there's an NVIDIA icon in your taskbar, you can right click on that. If not, just search "NVIDIA" from your Start menu, and it should pop up.
2. Once the Control Panel opens, look under "3D Settings" in the menu on the left-hand side and select "Manage 3D settings." In the list of settings that appears, scroll down until you see "DSR - Factors." It's probably switched to "Off" by default.
(Note: You'll also see "DSR - Smoothness." If you find that your screenshots look too sharp or too blurry once you start using this method, you can adjust this setting to your liking.)
3. Double-click on "Off," and a list of various resolutions should pop up. You can select whichever ones you want to make available. I chose two and four times bigger than my native resolution. Click "OK."
4. Now, it should show whichever resolutions you selected instead of "Off." Click "Apply." This may cause your screen to momentarily flicker or go dark. You'll possibly get a pop-up asking if you want to apply/keep these settings, so just confirm that you do. (It may also cause the NVIDIA App window to end up way over on the side of your screen. This happened to me, and I just had to drag it back to the middle.)
5. To double-check that they've actually been applied, click on "Change resolution" under "Display" in the left-hand menu. The new resolutions you've just selected should show up under "Dynamic Super Resolution." Don't click on any of them here! As long as they show up, you've done everything you need to.
6. Open your game. Go to "Game Options." When you click on the "Resolution" drop-down, the newly available larger resolutions should appear. Select the one you want and click "Apply Changes." If you use Reshade, it will probably have to reload every time you do this, and the window will probably become smaller. If you have a hard time seeing your shader settings as a result, I recommend setting everything up before switching to the larger resolution. Then all you have to do is take the screenshot!
As you can see, it's pretty straightforward to set up and use! I'm not sure how demanding it is on your computer to force a higher resolution, so I recommend only switching to take the screenshots you need and then returning to your native resolution. Personally, I only boost the resolution for specific types of screenshots, like CAS lookbooks, images I want to crop vertically, or highly detailed images. I find SRWE clunky to use, so if you feel the same and have an NVIDIA card, I highly recommend giving this approach a try! And thank you to @glittermutt for the original tutorial!
