I never really thought I'd need to make an emergency post ever again, but...

I just realised we're fast approaching pretty serious financial issues here, and I don't know what to do other than try ko-fi again. I don't really want to say too much, but with how fast funds have been going down over the past year... I'm scared we might not have a home by next year.

I'm a physically disabled transmasc NB person with mental health issues living with their very physically disabled mom. Mom is a double-amputee and can no longer move herself. It's physically impossible for me to move her either due to my condition.

She has four carers come in a day for her basic hygenic needs but that's about it. These care workers are *crucial* for her, but they're expensive. She's on dialysis for stage 4 kidney disease and her overall kidney health is extremely poor, iirc only 8% function left from the last time it was checked. She has type 2 diabetes, has between 2-10% hearing left in her right ear, osteo, COPD, and lymphedema in both legs. She's really, really not well. I really, REALLY need help because the welfare I'm on isn't enough to cover the cost of the carers.

If you'd like to help even just by reblogging this for me, I appreciate it... I just don't know what else to really say or do. I don't have other relatives that could help bc they're barely staying afloat themselves, and I don't have friends who could help that live local either.

I still don't feel confident about commissions but I'll open them. This is the worst possible timing because working when stressed and anxious makes me self-conscious on the quality.
