There’s power in her. Tame and controlled, but surely powerful. He doesn’t even try to humor himself the thought that she’s a mere mortal. A Goddess, then? He has not met her or hear of her when he still resided in Asgard, but well, she is here, isn’t she? In Midgard, out of all realms to be. He wonders, for a moment, just what it is in Midgard that keeps on attracting Gods and Goddesses alike. First there was Thor, then there was the Other, the army of Chitauri, and him.
Perhaps he shouldn’t have asked, because he knows.
“Loki,” he says swiftly, not bothering to add any other explanation, for his name is enough of an explanation by itself. Pressing his palm on his chest, he lets himself bow on his seat, a little, as an act of courtesy. “It is very nice to meet you, as well.”
“Tell me, Diana Prince,” he clasps his hands together in front of him, interest and curiosity as well as wariness seeping into his skin as he says, “what are you the Goddess of again?”
Loki, the God of Mischief, brother to Thor.
Diana never once met a Norse God before, after thousand years she have walked and passed the Earth yet she have found a Norse God here, of all places, guess gods do walk among the mortals too. Either their intention are good or bad, she have seen and may have killed some of them as she try to protect the humanity she strongly trusts them to be better.
Straight to the point, perhaps he can sense the aura she is carrying. Honestly speaking, Diana doesn’t know how to hide those, but mortals didn’t seemed to notice it so she guessed it wasn’t necessary as long as she hides her identity of being the daughter of Hippolyta.
“ No one has ever refer to me as one.”
All her life she have hold the name of the daughter of Hippolyta, or Diana of Themscyra. She doesn’t know what kind of Goddess she was. It wasn’t a good choice of telling another god that she was the God Killer.
“ Daughter of Hippolyta, with the Blood of the Old Gods’ run within. “

❝ I’d hate to impose, but it’s my first time here in the City Hall and I have to fix some paperwork … Would you help me ? ❞
“ Of course, my name is Diana and I’ll be helping you for today. First of all, can you tell me your name? “

It is with exaggerated slowness that he raises his gaze from his book, raising an elegant eyebrow in response to her words. The God of Mischief tilts his head to the side a little bit, half a silent inquiry for her to continue with her words and half actual intrigue over what he sees. Or rather, what he feels.
For one as skilled in magic as he is, it doesn’t take long for him to recognize the aura and the whole feeling and sheer power around her as what they truly are, and Loki has to furrow his eyebrows a little bit at that, his shoulders stiffening and his posture straightening as he registers that no, this is not just a woman.
So it is with half a smile, perhaps meant to be charming, perhaps meant to be menacing, that Loki drawls. “I would say that I am not interested in you, but that would be a lie,” he chuckles, for he is known for being a liesmith and yet he says this. But how is anyone to know when he lies and when he does not? It is certainly an upperhand that he cherishes, if only for the delusion that he is in control of the situation.
“Do talk, then,” he says, gesturing with a swift wave of his hand, “I’m waiting.”
A chuckle arises from her lips, it’s very funny on how many people have said that to her. Men will always be men in whatever form they are, human, gods or something else. To say the least, she have grown used to these kind of men ever since she stepped out of her homeland.
She knew that he was a god, such sheer power emitted from him could only come from either a kryptonian or a god. But so far, she knew this city hold no kryptonians, after all, the sensation between a god and kryptonian are two different thing and she wouldn’t want to classify them together.
“ I’m Diana Prince, it’s nice to meet you. “
Simple introduction, that’s what the other needed to know about her. It wasn’t a lie either, it’s a name she have grown accustomed of as Themyscira only exists in mythologies and it’s to keep her identity secret.
“ And you are? “

So, he’s got Wonder Woman standing next to him. No big deal. Happens all the time. He’s about to shoot down the men when her voice interrupts him. No killing; of course. He gives her a quick nod before he pulls the triggers, opting for a little less damage. legs, arms – they’ll live. Some might never walk again, but at least they’re breathing.
They have Wonder Woman to thank for that.
❝ Got ya. ❞
The lasso captures his attention and she finds a way to toss one of the men into the dumpster and Jason can’t help but let out a laugh.
( part of him wonders if he should pinch himself. )
Of course Diana couldn’t ignore whenever someone is in the face of danger, after all, it’s her sacred duty to protect this world from evil whether it’s from humankind themselves or some other gods--she have been doing this for the last thousands of years but she still believes in them.
She doesn’t expect the second son of Batman would be here, she still remembered when he was still wearing the red and green suit, but those are in the past but her feelings won’t change for him, she still proud of what Jason has become.
Smiling at the hood when he seemed to agree with her no killing rule, she blocks the bullet that’s coming after her before knocking them unconscious and with a quick reflexes she reaches for her lasso and throw the man into the dumpster.
“ Good work, Red Hood. “ After all, two is better than one.

– @wnderwomcn
It’s a generally good day, or so he likes to think. He has a brand new book that piques his interest, a warm cup of tea situated nicely on the table beside him, and the place is immensely quiet. If he’ll take a Midgardian term, it would be, ah, “me time”, or so he thinks. It must be that, for his memories are good and he is confident in his ability to retain the knowledge that he’s learnt. While it takes him some time to assimilate–he was assimilating, thank you, he’s definitely not hiding or running away or anything, really–he’s rather certain he’ll be able to fit in here for a little while, at the very least.
At least until some overly curious Avengers–he takes the effort to snort at the reminder of the name–decides to visit and probably drags him off somewhere. Not that he’s scared or anything; he’s fairly certain he can take them, or at least manage to evade and vanish somewhere else. (And no, it’s not him running away, there’s a difference between running away and tactical retreat, really).
Nevertheless, he rather enjoys his situation at the moment, at least until he gets bored enough to be pressed to do something. Therefore when someone barges in to sit casually in front of him, and because Loki is nothing if not petty, the Silvertongue decides to find the book as way more appealing and suddenly a hundreds of times more interesting than it was before.
What do you mean there’s a woman sitting in front of him and is obviously waiting for him to acknowledge her presence? He sees no woman or anything. He sees words and letters and oh, this book is very interesting.
Oh she knows, that he was ignoring her. She was supposed to enjoy a good tea time in this elegant restaurant but apparently, the other catches her attention. To say it is Athena’s wisdom that was bestowed upon her during birth, call it a gut feeling but she knows that this man is nothing but mischief.
Ever since she was little, her mother, Hippolyta, would tell her stories not only about the Greek Gods, but she soon knew the existence of other Gods who walked among the mortals. And they are one of them, trying to enjoy a good ‘me time.’
Diana finds it amusing, she didn’t come her for a fight oh no, she would always put battle in her last resort. She is here just for a talk, and maybe, just maybe, get to know with each other.
After ordering a cup for herself, she kept her gaze on the other. Perhaps she could be a little mischief herself, looking at him and until he’s bothered, even Gods have limits to their patience.
“ Just how long are you planning to ignore me? “
As Diana predicted, he is pissed off at her presence. She couldn’t blame it though but she felt a sense of accomplishment herself.
“ I don’t know, maybe, can we have a small chat? I am very interested in you. “
This lie is afraid of me. It should be.
