In a way this project is better than the others because it requires a lot less thinking. Not that I don't enjoy thinking I just strongly prefer to think about things I actually care about. On the other hand it's so fucking boring. This is literally just read some text and press a key depending on what the text is. Like there is a lot of prerequisite subject matter knowledge involved and if you don't have that knowledge you would royally fuck it up. But if you do have that knowledge then it's almost automatic. Almost because you have to pay just enough attention to make concurrently watching tv/smoking weed/otherwise having fun impossible. Which makes it very boring. It would be less of an issue if it didn't also involve working with multiple spreadsheets with over 1 million rows each. Which is absolutely killing my computer and its 8 sad gigs of ram. Which I have an upgrade for but haven't been able to actually perform the upgrade yet because this project requires me to leave the computer on 24/7 because the software it uses is so shitty it has no pause or save function so nothing persists when it restarts. And it freaks out and dumps everything if the computer goes to sleep so I can't even give the poor machine a break it's just been sweating its ass off running at full speed for the past 48 hours. So the whole computer is constantly freezing every time I dare to copy a cell or switch a browser tab which is making everything take four times longer than it should. It's just the perfect combination of circumstances to make this so painful I almost wish I had to think harder about it. Hell I wish I COULD think harder about it but it's a solved problem with an as-yet impossible solution. And I've been thinking about it and nothing else for days. I gotta just get it done
Awesome news guys I worked 10 hours straight yesterday and 14 hours straight today and will be doing another 14 tomorrow :) and I will still have 2 more days of work after that before I can have a day off :))) and the best part is I'm overtime exempt :))))))

I need a new computer :/ 8 gb ram and 256 gb storage are just not enough anymore like I'm constantly running out of storage and Windows itself consumes like 85% of my ram and CPU just idling with nothing else open. If I open a Firefox window with 5 tabs in it and like, the calculator, the whole thing locks up for several minutes and the fans spin up like crazy and then when it does start working again it immediately kicks my tabs out of memory as soon as I click away so it's like reloading the whole page every time I switch tabs. It's basically unusable for even the lightest tasks and like... I need to have dozens of tabs or PDFs or spreadsheets open sometimes. I need to run VMs for work. I want to be able to do photo editing. And I simply cannot. I want to just put Linux on it but unfortunately I have to use either Windows or Mac for work and I dont think I can get away with running a Windows VM on Linux because I would then have to run another VM within that first VM for my work programs and I think at that point the computer would still be shitting itself. Ughhhhhhh why must this occur during the worst time in history to need a ram upgrade
Nvm my bf somehow materialized an extra 8gb ram stick and a 500gb SSD and left them on my desk. Computer surgery tonight

Throughout my life I've tried like 4 times to watch Twin Peaks but gave up every time about 4 episodes in because it kept giving me nightmares. Well I finally pushed through and watched more of it and I really liked the first season but I'm now on episode 14 of season 2 and I'm going to be peacing out here. Not because it's giving me nightmares but because I just don't care anymore. I don't know what happened to this show but omg I don't care about James milf adventures I don't care about Nadine going to high school (?????) I simply don't care about 80% of each episode now. I got other things to do
