Demi-Fiend/Half-Fiend Au, Bones, legs, and a whole lot of anatomy.

So.. Yeah.. @rainbowchalksiamese​ created the au, I helped and now I return with info that feels more like a biology reading because I am a biology nerd. Enjoy the ramblings.

The legs are inspired mostly by bird legs, the examples given here being owl and ostrich. 

For the wings and tail, I went for bat with more enlarged lungs and ribcage to maintain longer flights. The tail keeps her balanced when resting, but has a fan at the tip to allow for direction management and swift turning.

Aside from the claws, the humanoid limbs aren’t anything really special, and I imagine this is the limb form she chooses to take on while doing other tasks aside from hunting. The extra eyes seem to show no other purpose so far, though it has been speculated they aid in seeing a greater color spectrum then the naked human eye. ... Yeah, hope you enjoyed the ramblings.
