Hi, it is me, Ari. There's something that I need to get off of my chest right now. Earlier today, I came on here and went into the spy vs spy tag to check out whatever new posts about the Spy vs. Spy comic strips and fanart of the spies was posted, but I came across somebody, particularly foxdude, making a "callout" post in regards to duelingjesters and linnofthewoods; foxdude literally called the former a hypocrite. I may come off as a bit of a rash shithead and I apologize, but does foxdude know what the word "hypocrite" even means? Do they know what they're even talking about at all? I personally think they sound like they're trying to justify their actions for what they did two years ago. What did duelingjesters and linnofthewoods EVER do to them? If anybody knows more about their behavior in the discord (I don't use the discord) and on tumblr, please lend me the details so I can learn more because I'm suspicious about foxdude.
I would like to point out that just because foxdude and their family make racist jokes a lot (and whatever offensive and inappropriate jokes and behavior they may have exhibited) because they are Hispanic (I think, I could be wrong though) does not validate nor excuse their disrespectful behavior! They may think that whatever racist jokes like that are funny, but I can be absolutely sure that for so many people (myself included), IT IS NOT FUNNY, especially if they would post it in a chat or as a post online for all to see where minors and/or people who are easily offended will end up coming across it! Race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, age, income level, and education level does not justify any disrespectful behavior whatsoever! If somebody posts something inappropriate, offensive, and/or disrespectful, and they think it's funny, cute, and ok, then they're wrong; at least hundreds of people are obviously going to be offended and furious, and then a lot of them will call them out and/or even report them (and block them too)! People can be themselves and do whatever they want, but there's something (that I don't think is uncommon at all) called BOUNDARIES. People need to respect other people's boundaries! In order not to be hated by others, they just need to be decent human beings with morals, values, consideration, dignity, and respect for others around them! I may have a fairly crude sense of humor sometimes and I will admit that, but am I posting and saying them online for all to see constantly, especially without warning them that the content may be too inappropriate for minors and/or those who may be too sensitive for the subject matter involved and making a disclaimer that I don't condone anything inappropriate regarding the subject matter? Even I think that any jokes that are racist, antisemitic, sexist, politically incorrect, and way too graphic are not only wrong, but also very offensive and infuriating!
People have made mistakes in the past. Nobody can change what they have done in the past, but they can learn from them by reflecting on them so they (hopefully) won't make them again in the future, especially if they take the time and effort to think twice like they should. However, there are a lot of people who won't learn from their mistakes and change for the better because they are too ignorant, self-righteous, and bullheaded to learn so they instead justify their mistakes, flaws, and overall disrespectful behavior, which is wrong. I'm personally getting the feeling that foxdude may be one of those people who justify their mistakes and flaws, and painting themself as the victim instead of accepting that they're wrong, thinking about their actions that made them hated by others in the fandom community in the first place, straying away from their bad habits, and start respecting people's boundaries. As the saying goes, those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it. Again, just be a good person with morals, values, dignity, and respect for others around you. Treat others the way you want to be treated and think twice about your actions. Actions matter because as adults, we are responsible for our actions and our actions have consequences.
Still, I don't know the entire story about foxdude, though. Again, I apologize for being a bit of an asshole for making some potentially harsh rash assumptions here. Anyway, if y'all can tell me and show me (via screenshots, if you want) what their deal really is, I'd appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
