Aaaaaa, I never come around here anymore. Iâm sorry ;.V.;
Hi! So my fursuit is arriving in a week or so, and I would really like to start fursuit dancing. However my character is a /very lazy/ angel dragon. Would it be bad or out of character if I danced to something really fast or energetic?
Well, thatâs up to you, if you want to have times when you are not necessarily acting in-character or not. If you want my personal opinion, Iâd say to be consistent. You can dance do slower pieces, or dance slowly to a fast one for humor, hehe. Â Itâs really your choice!
BLFC201 was awesome. As awesome as this photo by DexFenik!
You made me love sergals
<3 !
This freestyle is dedicated to all of you out there going through tough times. All my love.
May I ask how you made your feetpaws? I also wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your current predicament (I saw on Twitter), and I'd do something if I could.
They are built around a lightweight slip-on shoe base, made of carved foam, and furred over with short pile fur. They have a lycra lining on the ankle part and a velcro closure in back. The soles are shoe sole material and are durable enough for light outdoor use.
Just curious- how did you go about patterning/ creating the digitigrade legs? I'm planning on creating faun/satyr/deer creature legs before my state's comic con and I'm just curious if you have any tips. Rinn is such a lovely suit!
Thank you! They are done by cutting the bodysuit leg straight and uniform width from the crotch down, no taper. This gives you room to make the digi shape you want on top of it. Youâll want to note where your thigh, knee, and ankle are and do the design based off that. A good rule to go by is the digi knee should be just below your actual knee and the digi ankle should be just below and opposite that.Â
Here is an image of the pattern I used on mine, next to my bodysuit leg, folded inseam-to-outseam.
And here is an image of that same leg folded flat, front-to-back:
The interior is filled with stuffed pillows. See this method:

Well designing the head atm and I was wondering how you designed yours to not obstruct your vision too much? Looking at your videos I realized the muzzle must be level with your forehead and was wondering how you had designed that part of the head.
The head is tear-duct vision, just inside the eyes. Itâs covered with reflective chiffon, which Iâm probably going to change to non-reflective chiffon soon (same stuff I used to do my Kylo Ren mask--itâs MUCH better).
My vision is extremely poor in the Rinn mask. There are HUGE blind spot areas. I can only see straight ahead, no peripheral, no up/down, and no center vision. This is why if you see me walking, I sweep my head around a lot or when I am looking for something, my head is turned to the side a bit. It is also very âhazyâ as though looking through gauze.
Thereâs not much I can do to improve the field of vision, but I do plan on improving the quality of vision if I can.
Hi rinn! Ive been wondering, how did you make your head? Did you do a bucket base, a balaclava and foam? Maybe even paper mache???
This is the original base. It is a resin base from DVC. I added a small lycra skullcap over the top of the elastic straps which hold it on my head.
Then I added foam to modify it how I wanted it. This is what was furred over.
Have to say, I love the fursuit dance videos you made of Rinn and I was wondering if you would be kind enough to share some tips on how you made the fursuit?
Absolutely. Iâd need to know specifically what youâd want to know though, because thereâs a lot that goes into fursuit-making, hehe.
I wanted to quickly post that Tumblr hasnât been notifying me of incoming messages/notes, so thatâs why I suddenly spammed answers. Sorry! I only check it once a day or so.
Was Rinn your first suit? It is by far the best sergal I have ever seen done! Do you mind posting tips on how you made him?
It is my 3rd suit. If you wanted any specific tips, I can answer them privately. Other than that, Iâd check out Matricesâ fursuit tutorials website. My suit uses many of her techniques.
Do you offer head commissions? Your Rinn head looks awesome c:
Unfortunately, I donât. Sorry!
Vsuxkdasf!! I didn't know you have a tumblr account! :D i justo wanted to say that i really love your suit *u* did you made it? Btw thanks to you i get courage to dance in fursuit so... Thank you! <3 stay awesome! *hugs* x3
Thanks! Yes I did make it. Iâm so happy to hear you found the courage and motivation to dance, itâs a lot of fun!
Hello it's me again, my apologies for the bother. Have you considered going to cons not geared towards furries, like Ohayocon or Matsuricon?
I do go to local comic cons (about 2 per year) for a day or two. Iâve never worn my suit at them because they donât have very good accommodations for such a costume, heh.
I just wanna be your cute ChristmaSergal! Happy holidays!
