In the forest of the Sinnoh area, Senku the Leafeon was gathering berries for the upcoming winter, he was smarter than most Leafeons around him, he was more aware of his surroundings and knowing how to avoid fights because even though he was smart his physical body was weak, he only knows Bite and Tackle and that was all, he tried to train hard to get learn more moves but he just could never get it like other Leafeons who know Leaf Storm, Disarming Voice and Magical Leaf; very powerful moves. Senku didn't care as long as he survives another day, he had two strand of fur on his forehead hung down instead of going up like other Leafeons, he also has two symmetrical scars on his face, jagged lines beginning from the edge of his eyes and heading towards the top of his head with smaller scars leading down from his inner eyes; they appeared after he evolved, he and Byakuya had no clue why they appeared
Senku had made a little sack with large leaves and vines, putting five berries, bananas, and apples in the sack and heads back to his dean' this should do it for the winter, I need to make sure my den is insulated to keep the cold from blowing inside it. Byakuya should be coming home soon, getting water that'll last at least five months... But then I will have to venture out when we run out and try and find water when we run out,' He sighs. His father came in with a bowl balancing on his back carefully" I got the water Son!" Byakuya was a Flareon who had taken Senku in when his parents were killed by team rocket, Senku was still a young Eevee when it happened. Byakuya was friends with Senku's parents so when he found Senku alone, he knew he had to take him in, Senku evolved into a Leafeon because he spent his younger years in the forest and big grass exploring and learning more about the world. Senku said" good, you can set it against the wall, I got us berries, herbs, meat to last us at least half of winter. With my calculations the winter won't be as harsh at the end than when it starts. So you and I will be able to leave the cave to get more food without having to worry about getting caught in a snow storm."
Byakuya grins" look at you Senku, you are becoming a genius prodigy" Senku scuffs as he lays down beside the fire pit he had made" it's common knowledge old man, now light the fire pit, it's getting cold," Byakuya chuckles and blew out a small ember onto the sticks and lays down, Senku used his tail like a fan to get the fire going, Byakuya said" if you need to cuddle with me you are welcome to, I remember you use to do that when you were still an Eevee," Senku blushes red" I was a kid! I don't need to cuddle with you old man! I have dignity now" Byakuya chuckles" whatever you say Senku, just know the offer is always here," he yawns and curls up, face under his fluffy tail and fell asleep. Senku scuffs as he curls up more in front of the fire" I am just fine with the fire, I don't need the old man's body warmth like before..."
As the weather got extremely cold, Byakuya had to restart the fire a few times because of the wind and Senku had to snuggle in his adoptive father's fur to keep warm, Senku grumbles" damn it.. It's getting worse. We might have to go deeper into the cave to avoid the wind that is coming in from the entrance but if we do that then we can't make a fire because of the smoke..." Byakuya said" we might not have a choice, my body heat can't keep up with the strong winds to keep you and I warm..." Another wind blew in the cave and Byakuya curled up more to protect Senku, Senku looked at his dad with worried for the first time since they stayed in the cave and showing rare vulnerability" Old Man...?" Byakuya licks Senku's strand of fur gently" it'll be alright Senku" he assured his son. Suddenly the wind stopped and the two looked behind them and saw a large wall of ice being formed; top to bottom, covering the entrance and a Glaceon in front of it with its mouth open, blue ice beam coming from it.
Once the entrance was covered, it looked at the two" now the wind won't bother you," it was a female Glaceon with her left ear missing and a missing right front leg, her eyes were amber colored. Byakuya smiled" we appreciate the help," Senku said annoyed" how are we suppose to breath now and we can't start the fire without an opening or we'll suffocate from the smoke" Byakuya looked at his son and smacks him on the head with his paw" Senku, don't be rude! I'll make a small hole so we can breath and the smoke can flow out," he looked at the Glaceon" I'm sorry about that" he smiled" sometimes he forgets his manners and is too blunt, I'm Byakuya and this is Senku my adopted son," the Glaceon smiled" nice to meet you two, I'm Wolf. Sorry for intruding on your cave but the storm was getting very harsh, too harsh even for me; a Glaceon" Byakuya made a small hole" there, it's small enough so not much wind will come in but we will still be able to breath, nothing to it" Senku said" another problem, we only gathered enough for us two, not for three people, it will be gone in 2 months not 4 months," Wolf said" if I need to, I'll go out and find more food," Senku said" that's impossible, everything will be dead, there are no berries or apples or pears," Wolf said" I'm good at finding food, this is not my first snow storm Senku," Senku hums" we'll see."
In month two their food was growing smaller, Wolf said" I'll go find more food," Senku said" I'm telling you, you'll never find any food out there, the snow is still heavy and all the vegetation is dead," Wolf said" you haven't been out here any longer than I was," Byakuya said" we must trust her Senku," Senku looked away and huffs" fine, go" Wolf crawls through the hole and heads into the forest. Senku glared at his dad" why did we let her stay, our food would have lasted longer," Byakuya said" where is your compassion Senku! She has ate less then us," Senku said" she still ate our rations!" Byakuya walked closer to Senku, a rare disapproving look on his face" I didn't have to take you in Senku, I barely could find food for myself but I still look you in after your parents died," Senku growls" you only took me in because you knew my parents!" Byakuya looked at him with a sad look" you're right but also I took you in because I am not a cold heart Flareon who would leave a young Eevee along to die by other Pokemon, Team Rocket or the elements. I would of still took you in if I found you alone," Senku looked away, ears down not knowing what to say.
Byakuya sighs and walked to him and licks his head gently" Senku, having compassion does not show you are weak, it shows you are a Pokemon with feelings, you are alive and that you care," Senku sighs, leaning into his dad, a rare moment he normally does when he lets his guard down" if I get close to someone... I worry they will leave.. Like my mom and dad even though I never really remember them." Byakuya said" Senku, if you push the people you want close away, you will regret not making memories and hold special moments close when that person leaves. I taught you the circle of life; we're born, we live and when our time comes we die.. It is hard but you'll have the Pokemon who cared about you so close in your memories. When I am gone, you'll remember all what I taught you when you were a young Eevee and now. The rare moments we had together, snuggling together in the winter, so I will always be with you, it will hurt for awhile and it'll be hurt but you can do it Senku, you're very strong and smart and I have a feeling you'll be just fine with Wolf," Senku lightly glared" come on Old Man, I just met her and she is so annoying," Byakuya chuckles softly" who knows you might need that little annoyance," Senku grumbles, looking away" when I learn razor leaf I'll believe it and we know that will never happen, other Leafeons have mastered the move and I still can't" Byakuya chuckles and pats his head with his paw" you'll never know Senku, she might bring light in your life" he grunts.
Wolf came back through the hole" I have returned! Byakuya could you open the hole a bit more wider?" The old Flareon went to the ice wall and opened the hole bigger, Wolf hurried pulled a sack inside and she used her ice beam to close to hole back to it's smaller hole. Senku's eyes widen" what?! How the hell did you get all that?!" Wolf said" I know an elderly couple at the edge of the forest and I went to them and made an ice statue of you two and they understood about you two needing more food, they gave me the berries and apples they harvested" she smiled. Byakuya asked" are you their Pokemon? Wolf shakes her head" no, they took care of me when I got injured by Team Rocket's Pokemon, it's the reason I am missing my left ear and right leg. I had to have it amputated, after I healed, I left and lived in the forest."
Byakuya said" you're very strong for going out in the forest on your own without your right leg," Wolf gives Senku and Byakuya some berries and apples, she pulled out three bowls and makes small icicles" Byakuya can melt these and we have water," Senku said" drinking your ice huh, that is new," Wolf said" it's clean," Byakuya said" it'll be alright Senku," he carefully blew a small ember on the ice, watching it melt into water. Senku lays down and ate his berries" I suppose I should thank you for going out and getting us food... I'm sorry for being rude to" Wolf smiled" it's alright, you were worried about yourself and dad and about your rations. I assure you, I can eat less, I did it before," Byakuya said" well that is not going to happen, we have plenty here thanks to you, we'll survive this winter together."
Over the course of the winter season Wolf would go out get more food if they are low, Senku and his dad was eating their berries and apples while Wolf was laying away from the fire since it was a bit too hot for her, Senku looked at her and then at the apple he hasn't eaten yet, he picks it up in his mouth and went to Wolf, her half ear twitch and she lifts her head and looked at Senku, Senku sets down the apple gently, blushing lightly" I noticed you eat more apples than berries.. I don't like apples much as they are too sweet..." Wolf smiled and started eating the apple, crunching it with her teeth, after she ate the apple, she licks her lips" thank you Senku," he clears his throat" no problem..." he saw she missed a small piece of apple from the corner of her mouth she couldn't get and licks it off, he blushes more not believing what he was doing, he coughed a bit and looked away" sorry..."
Wolf giggles behind her paw" don't be, it's sweet" he asked softly" mind if I stay with ya..? I'm getting a little warm by the fire," Wolf smiled" of course" he lays behind her, starts grooming her head. She closes her eyes and enjoy being groomed. She said softly" I never been cared for before... I was abandoned by my trainer in the mountains because I couldn't learn any more ice moves, only ice beam and Ice Ball. He didn't see them as powerful moves like Icicle Spear, Avalanche, Blizzard" Senku said" I know how you feel on not being able to learn more moves, I only know Bite and Tackle... I thought I would get at least one Grass move but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't release any... I was hoping at least Razor Leaf but nothing, I slowly accepted that I wouldn't be a proper Leafeon and that's alright. Just wish I had something stronger to defend myself when I go exploring."
Wolf said" that is unfortunate Senku, I'm sorry you can't do any Grass Moves but I know you are strong even with simple normal moves, you are smart and you can make those attacks stronger if you think of how to use properly using your surroundings" Senku hums" you could be right, I'll train once it becomes spring." Wolf smiled and lays her head down" I'll help you to" Senku rests his head on her back" I had a feeling you would say that," Wolf chuckles" you're slowly getting to know me better," he chuckles back" yeah, damn you for crawling into my life," there wasn't any anger in it, it was more playful. She lifts her head one more time, licks his cheek" yeah, how dumb of me" she jokes then lays her head back down on her paws" the two fell asleep while Byakuya watched their interaction and smiled" she'll make your life better Senku."
Spring has come and the three Eeveelutions came out of the cave, Senku stretched with his butt up then moved the stretch so his butt was now on the floor while he yawned, Byakuya rolls around in the grass, wiggling his back on it to scratch it" ah so nice to finally be out of that cave, feeling the grass on my fur feels so nice!" Senku takes in the sun" it is nice feeling the warm sun on me again," Wolf sits on her hind legs and licks her paw and rubs her face" thank you for letting me stay with you two, I shall be on my way," Senku walked to her" you're leaving?" Wolf said" I don't want to intrude more on you two," Byakuya walked to her" non-sense, you are not intruding. It'll be nice to have another Eeveelution in the family and you help bring out Senku's soft side."
Senku glared" I don't have a soft side Old Man! I... I just gave her the apples since there was a bit more in the sack and I didn't want the apples, I am not into sweets," his justification was weak but Byakuya didn't tease Senku further. Wolf looked at Senku" do you want me to leave Senku?" Senku said" I... I don't.. You're interesting and I.. I could use some help with some research. Not like I can force you to stay but you can stay since my old man likes to," Wolf smiled and nuzzles her head under his chin" then I'll stay," she honestly didn't want to leave the two but she also didn't want to be rude and just push herself in the family, she was happy to be part of a family, something she longed for so long.
Over the Spring and Summer Wolf and Senku was inseparable, they explored, fed one another berries and apples, groomed one another, Wolf protected Senku from larger Pokemon, Senku appreciated it but also hated that he wasn't the one protecting her since he was the male, the two practice their moves in hopes to learn a new one. Wolf and Senku were looking at some herbs that helped with herbs when they heard screeches from flying Pokemon, they looked up at the trees and saw Pidgey and Spearow flying South, Senku frowns" those two Pokemon never interact even just flying they avoid one another... Something's coming.." They saw other Pokemon that were closer to the ground run pass them, Wolf asked one of the Bulbasaur" what's happening?" The Bulbarsaur said" humans in black and white outfits with a big R are catching Pokemon!" It ran away. Wolf frowns" Team Rocket in this deep side of the forest?" Senku said" come on, we have to warn Byakuya!" They ran towards their area that they settled down.
They ran through the bushes, Byakuya was just lounging in the grass when he heard Senku yelling for him, he lifts his head" Senku, what's wrong?" Senku said" Team Rocket, they're heading this way, we have to move" Byakuya frowns" this far in the forest... They're getting desperate for shinies or any rare Pokemon, You two might be targeted," Wolf frowns" I am nothing special, they'll see me as a broken Pokemon" Byakuya said" it don't matter... They want any new Pokemon, they might actually want you to make you into an experiment" Senku growls" I won't let that happen," they heard yelling of orders, it must of been Team Rocket ordering their Pokemon to attack others to capture them faster. The three ran off, away from their home, despite her having only three legs Wolf was fast, Senku and Byakuya were lagging behind a bit; Byakuya because of his old age and Senku because he did not have good stamina as he was use to running this long. Wolf turns and saw Sneazel and Scizor coming through the bushes, two male Team Rocket come out to, ordering their Pokemon to capture Senku and Byakuya" get that Flareon, Scizor!" "You to Sneazel!"
The two Pokemon yelled out and released their moves at them, it missed but did hit the ground sending Senku and Byakuya flying then falling on the floor. Wolf skids to a stop" Byakuya! Senku!" Senku shakily stood up, dirty and hurting a little, his dad was unconscious, he looked at Wolf" run! Don't look back Wolf!" He stood up and moved in front of his dad, trying to hold the two Pokemon off, using his bite and tackle moves but it was not enough as Sneazel used Iron Claw on Senku and it threw him back into a tree. Wolf shakes, tears falling" SENKU!!" To the two humans they just heard a Glaceon scream out" GLACEON!" One said" grab that three legged Glaceon to, it may be useless but the boss might be able to do some experiments on it. One grabbed Byakuya and threw him in a cage, picking up Senku by the scruff of the neck. Wolf shakes and roared out its cry and ran at them, releasing ice balls at them, the two dodged, one said" Scizor use X- Scissor!" Scizor crossed its claws and then threw them outward, a flowing X flew at Wolf, she dodged but then Sneazel tackles her into the ground, she grunts and shakily get up slowly" Sen..." Senku opened his red eyes, looking at Wolf" run Wolf..." tears fell as she looked at Senku not wanting to run.
Wolf growls at the two Pokemon as she threw ice beam and ice balls at the two Pokemon, not wanting to give up on the two people that cared for her but she was no match to two Pokemon, she was unconscious, one Team Rocket man said" stubborn Glaceon, I don't think it is worth it, just end it's life and lets get these two back to the ship," the other tossed Senku in the cage and walked to the Glaceon, Senku suddenly got a surge of energy and started body slamming against the cage" you leave her alone!!" The humans watch as the Leafeon cried out its own name as it slams its body against the steel bars, one asked" what's up with it? It's like it wants to protect this Glaceon but that can't be right, Ice is effective against Grass..."
The one holding Wolf by the scruff on the back of her neck" ignore it, take them to the ship, I'll meet you there after I end this Glaceon's life," he takes out his electric baton, holding it on Wolf's side, making her scream in pain. Senku cried out as he was being wheeled away" WOLF!!!" Wolf cried out" SENKU!! PLEASE HELP ME!!" Senku cries out, his two strands of hair on his forehead and tail glowed green and turning hard like a sword and he swings his tail at the bars, splitting them like butter and he ran out, using his tail to knock the man pushing the crate then ran towards the man hurting Wolf, jumping up in the air" YOU'LL PAY FOR HURTING HER!" He uses his hair and whips the man away, the man cried in surprise and releasing Wolf from his hold, Wolf fell in the grass. Senku saw Scizor and Sneazel running at him, he swings his tail again, throwing them back far, he lands, his tail and strands stopped glowing, he pants and ran to Wolf, nudged her gently" Wolf..." Wolf slowly opened her eyes" Sen.." Senku knew she was hurt and needed help from a Pokemon Center, he avoided towns but he had to take his chances and trust them to take care of Wolf" hang in there Wolf..." Byakuya came to from the cage and came out of it and hurried to Senku" Senku.." Senku carefully with some difficulty got Wolf on his back" Wolf's hurt... she needs a Pokemon Center."
They ran towards the nearest town which was Solaceon Town knowing it was small town but had a Pokemon Center, once at the door, it opened and Senku walked inside and called out" Leaf, Leaf, Leafeon! Leafeon!" Nurse Joy and Chansey heard him and leans over the desk, they gasp in shock and surprise seeing a Glaceon on the back of the Leafeon injured. An elder Flareon was behind them, just watching but did look concern to. The Leafeon and Chansey talked to one another, Chansey nods and takes the Glaceon and pats the Leafeon on the head and went to Nurse Joy, talking to her" Chansey.. Chansey... Chan, Chan" Nurse Joy nods as if knowing what Chansey was saying and looked at the Leafeon" we'll take good care of your friend, please wait here and we'll tend to her" the Leafeon walked to the couch and sat beside it, the Flareon followed and sat beside it and licks its forehead to comfort it. Chansey and Nurse Joy went to the back of the center.
Senku told his dad what had happened, Byakuya smiled" I am so proud of you that you learned Leaf Blade Senku and to save Wolf none the less, you have unleashed your power in order to protect the one you love," Senku blushes lightly" love... Love, I didn't think I would find someone that I felt this strong about.. I don't say love much to you but I know you know that I do appreciate you and love you.. But with Wolf.. It's a different kind of love," Byakuya smiles softly" I know what you mean Senku and I'm glad you have found another Pokemon who you care about. She'll make it Senku" he hugs his son with one leg around Senku's back. People came in and out of the Pokemon Center, curious about Leafeon and Flareon sitting by the couch with no trainer or trainers any where, they asked Nurse Joy when she comes out after tending to the Glaceon and she told them that they had no trainers and brought their friend a Glaceon in on their own.
She assumes they are wild Pokemon and were fighting someone who wanted to hurt them and ended up hurting the Glaceon. The trainers young and old were surprised wild Pokemon came to the Center on their own. The Chansey came out to the two, five minutes after Nurse Joy, clapping their two little stubs together" your friend is resting now, she has a burn on her side but it will heal over time, she is weak but will be okay," Senku sighs in relief" can we see her just quickly?" Chansey nods and leads Senku, Byakuya decided to stay in the waiting room, giving Senku time with Wolf. Senku walked in the room where Wolf was resting on the bed, covered with a sheet, sleeping on her stomach, head resting on a pillow. Senku jumps on the bed and licks her forehead gently" I'm so glad you're alright Wolf, I'll be waiting for you to be fully healed so we can leave and find a new home.." He jumps down and went back to his dad and they left to get food from the forest as they knew they would be staying in town for awhile while Wolf rests.
Wolf rested for two days, during those two days Senku and Byakuya stayed outside near the Pokemon Center not wanting to cause trouble for the nurse and Chansey by being inside knowing trainers would ask too many questions and might try and capture them and disturbing the resting Pokemon inside with ruckus. Chansey would come out and tell Senku that he could visit Wolf and he would come in the room, jump on the bed and grooms Wolf's head since she couldn't move her body right now being sore from the burned mark on her side. He told her that he now can use Leaf Blade, she was so happy and proud of him" oh Senku, I am so proud you gained a new move and you used it to escape the cage and to save me. I knew you had a move inside you, it just needed a reason to be released."
Senku nuzzles her head with his gently" yeah, a reason which is protecting you.. I didn't realize but after saving you and replaying you getting hurt. I couldn't image my life without you, I wouldn't be alone since I have Dad but if I lost you then I would just feel alone, not having someone else I can cherish and love... Wolf I love you so much, I... I never thought I would meet someone who never gave up on me, helped me get stronger, helped me explore the forest... but you came and released feelings I never thought I had, when you were hurt and getting hurt by that man with the electric baton... You calling for me, I knew I needed you in my life, by my side" Wolf tears up and leans into him, noses touching gently" oh Senku... I love you to, I never thought I would meet someone who means so much to me but I did and during a snowstorm where stumble in the cave where you and your dad were sheltered in. I'm honestly glad." Senku smiled" me to Wolf, me to, just rest up and once the nurse says you are well then we'll leave to find a new home," he lays down beside her, grooming her head gently, his paw over her left paw, the two just enjoying time together in the recovery room.
After Wolf was deemed well, Nurse Joy smiled as she unwraps Wolf's bandages from her chest, she checked the wound" your friend is healing nicely, you're all good Sweetie," Wolf licks her hand gently" Glaceon~" Nurse Joy smiled" you're welcome, please do be careful out there," Senku was sitting beside Wolf as he watched on, licking her head gently" Leaf, Leaf, Leafeon" Nurse pets Senku's head gently" you'll keep her safe huh Leafeon? You're such a strong Pokemon," Senku puffs his chest out with pride" Leafeon!" Flayeon rolls his eyes playfully at how confident his son was being. Glaceon and Leafeon jumps down off the bed, bows their head to Nurse Joy and Chansey, Wolf said" I am eternity grateful to you and your trainer for saving my life," Chansey smiled" I'm so happy you weren't too injured, I give my pray and blessing to you three on your journey for a better place," Senku said" we appreciate that," they bowed their heads again then walked out side by side, their tails wrapped around together, Byakuya followed behind them, Nurse Joy smiled" I'm assuming they thanked us Chansey with how they bowed their heads" Chansey did a closed eyed smile" Chansey!" Senku, Wolf and Byakuya left Solaceon Town using the trail for now, Wolf asked" where are we going?" Senku looked ahead of the long trail" wherever that feels safe and right for us" Byakuya smiled" an adventure for us three, maybe four?" He smirks, poking Senku on the shoulder, Senku blushes" now's not the time Old Man!!" Wolf giggles softly" maybe when we finally find our forever home Byakuya," Senku looked away bashful" yeah... Maybe."
The three finally found a place called Valor Lake, it was a medium size lake and near a beach they can go and meet new Pokemon and find new stuff to learn about. Wolf loved digging and making sandcastles with some difficulties, it wasn't great but it was fun to her, Senku loved seeing her happy and helped her any way he can, they met other Eeveelutions inhabiting nearby that accepted them and became one big family along with other different Pokemon.
At the beginning of the winter, Wolf found out she was pregnant and Senku was ecstatic being a dad, he made sure she was comfortable in the cave, he gathered as much leaves and grass to create a fluffy bed for her so she was not on the hard floor. He hunted extra hard for berries and apples especially apples for his mate, Byakuya was getting to his age but was determined to live until he sees his grandchild. Espeon used its psychic to arrange the leaves and grass and packing it together so it didn't fall apart when Wolf lays down on it, Wolf smiled" thank you for the help Espeon" Espeon smiled, swaying it's thin forked tail" any time, it has been awhile since we seen a child born, this is a wonderful occasion. We'll make sure you are comfortable and fed" Senku said" but that's my job" Wolf chuckles" now Senku, you don't need to do it all, we have friends now," Senku huffs" I know but it's my job as your mate and father of the child to provide for them" Wolf said" you're doing a wonderful job Sen, I am very proud of you but it doesn't hurt to accept help, Senku nods and licks her head" I'm sorry, I am just not use to having help other than from Dad," Wolf smiled" you're doing well," they nuzzle against each other's head,
In the spring Wolf's stomach was bulging showing that she had an egg inside her, Senku made sure she was resting and not on her three legs for too long, it was amusing to see Senku's mother hen showing, babying Wolf, telling her that she needed to rest and not move too much and not to go too far from the cave while he leaves to get food for her and his dad since Byakuya was getting to his age and can't make long distances. Wolf was laying on the sand, watching and listening to the ocean, it was peaceful, enjoying the day. Vaporeon was jumping up from the water and swam around with other water Pokemon, Wolf smiled, love seeing different Pokemon living peacefully together. The middle Spring Wolf gave birth to two eggs, she was curled up around them, tail in front of them, Senku was thrilled to see the two eggs" how you feeling Wolf?" Wolf smiled" tired but happy, twins Senku," he smiled" they will be great kids Wolf, I'll bring food to you, just rest and relax" he licks her head gently and left the cave to get more apples and water.
Six months came and the eggs began rocking, Wolf walked to the opening of the cave" Senku! It's time!" Senku has never ran so fast since they were attacked by Team Rocket to the cave and went to the eggs with Wolf, the eggs shake together and the top started cracking, Wolf lays behind the eggs, two small Eevee heads pop out from the top with the piece of egg still on their heads" vee? Vee?" The sun was setting, in an apartment Y/N was sitting at the kitchen island on her laptop, typing some codes she needed to do for Sai. She wasn't in Sai's level of coding but she was able to keep up with him and help him with coding when he needed help. Senku came through the door, taking off his shoes" Y/N I'm home," Y/N and Senku lived together in the apartment that looked very similar to the apartment Senku shared with his dad before the petrification. It wasn't far from the lab so they just walked there unless it was raining then they drive in Senku's car.
Y/N stopped tapping her keyboard and turned to Senku" welcome home Sen, you're here early, that is rare," Senku normally stays at the lab late, it was 6 PM now and he normally is still there until midnight sometimes even sleeping there in a bedroom that was made for him in case he did an all nighter and was too tired to walk home and he didn't want to wake Y/N to come get him as he knows she needs her sleep to be functional to help Sai with coding. Senku picks his left ear with his pinky and looked away" Xeno shooed me out saying I need to stop overworking and to have a proper sleep schedule... He told me that my projects will still be there in the morning," Y/N smiled" I mean he is right" Senku sighs" I know.. Xeno crossed his arms as he turned towards the many computers they made" I must stay at the control tower since I know what to do thanks to my time at NASA and have seen many launches. Akira was ten years old now and obviously gotten his dad's genius brain. They're like fish people," Chrome and Suika had onigiris in their hands, eating them happily, Suika said" not even clothes can hold us back, as we were always in the water since the day we were born," Senku smiled softly as he water the people swim, a memory went through his head.

“You're telling me that's…normal?” She gestured at the small milk carton in your hands that Senku gave you minutes ago.
You nodded casually while sipping. “Yeah, it's just milk.”
You said it so simply, as if you were ignoring the details of what happened earlier that clearly contradicted your “it's just milk”.
The moment the third period came to an end, Senku dragged you out of class without saying anything. You had grown used to it, hence you let him tug on your wrist softly without asking questions.
He guided you swiftly through the bustling hallway. The two of you reached his locker, and before you could peek to check what he was reaching out for, he handed you a small milk carton. It was still cold.
He clicked the roof of his tongue out of annoyance. “Your glucose levels crashed halfway through the third period. How many times do I have to tell you not to skip breakfast?”

Behind the two of you, Taiju and Yuzuriha watched the interaction. Both were clearly shocked, however, for two completely different reasons.
Taiju aggressively pointed at the milk carton in your hands, “Senku! How did you keep it cold?!”
“Insulated water bottle and ice. She won't drink it unless it's cold.” He said so casually while reading something on his phone.
Yuzuriha, however, wasn't curious about the science behind the cold milk carton. No, she was curious about the scientific explanation as to why you acted as if this was normal. How Senku acted as if this was normal.
“Was that really normal? I don't think it was…” she asked when it was just the two of you; her voice remained soft and polite.
Senku had made his way to the science laboratory while Taiju was eager to see another fascinating experiment of his.
You hummed, “Yeah, that's just how Senku has always been. I call it his acts of science. He says it's to keep me efficient.”

You lift your head up, tired eyes meeting his striking red ones. With a weak smile, you muttered out, “Thanks for the diagnosis, doc.”

You threw an eraser at him, to which he dodged effortlessly, a smirk tugging the corner of his lips.

And he never used it. Not even once.
The student leaned back against the table, a grin on his face as he asked, “You got a girlfriend or something?”
The room instantly erupted as the question flew out of the students’ mouths.
“No way! Senku? Seriously?”
“As if! You really think he has any time for romance?”
“There's no way, are we talking about the same Senku Ishigami?”
“That's what a hair tie means, though!” The student argued defensively, pointing at Senku's wrist. “It's literally a thing, guys wear them when they're taken.”
Senku didn't even bother to look up from the blueprint he was working on, though an irritated look was evident on his face.
“Dumbest thing I've heard all day.”
“So that's a no, Senku?”
“Tch, idiots. Use your brains for once.”
That unfortunately didn't answer anything. However, everyone seemed to be too interested and eager in the conversation.
“So is it someone's?” A student from a corner asked.
Senku finally looked up from his blueprint, clicking the roof of his tongue. “Obviously. Why would I use one when my hair defies gravity and is never in the way?”
The room went silent before,

“No way?!”
Senku looked far more annoyed after hearing their reactions, which, unfortunately, only encouraged everyone further.
“It's basic efficiency." He deadpanned. “Unlike you idiots, I account for predictable patterns to avoid unnecessary situations.”
Then, the doors of the science laboratory suddenly opened.
“Senku?” Your voice cut through the room of chaos, completely unaware of the chaos you've interrupted and caused.
Everyone turned to the door, not just Senku.
You blinked, feeling uncomfortable at the unexpected attention from everyone. “Why is everyone looking at me like that?”
“No reason,” half of the room replied in unison before pretending to focus on their work again.
You frowned suspiciously, eyes settled on Senku as your facial expression asked him questions. He didn't say anything, just stared back as you walked towards him.
You stopped next to him and allowed the suspicion to simmer down as you remembered the reason you were there. “Do you have a hair tie?”
Without saying a word, he lifted his wrist toward you, as if by muscle memory. Your fingers moved automatically and reached out for it.
“Lost another one? You're too careless, idiot.”
You ignored his remark, and with one smooth motion, you slid it off his wrist before tying your hair with practiced ease.
“Thanks, Sen.” You gave him a grin. “I'll see you after school.”
“Hm.”
Senku returned to his blueprint without saying anything else the moment you left.
The room stayed silent for three seconds after you closed the door behind you before erupting into chaos once more.
“What was that?!”
“I knew it was her!”

It was normal; you were used to it for years. Why bother to question it now?
The sound of rain suddenly falling from the skies sliced through your reverie. You halted, staring at the building window next to the staircase, before a groan escaped from your lips.
“Great. Just great.” You had forgotten your umbrella. Although you always forget to bring it, this time was different. You had asked Senku to go home without waiting for you. The same guy who never forgets to bring an umbrella and checks the weather forecast.
You made your way down the stairs, and your mood was a perfect match with the gloomy weather outside.
“Took you long enough.”
Your head snapped up toward the familiar voice, and your gaze immediately landed on him, Senku. One hand in his pocket while leaning against a wall near the staircase.
Your mouth fell open in shock. “Sen—?! What are you doing here?!”
“I was waiting for you, what else?” He answered casually. Too casually, as if you didn't ask him not to wait for you.
He walked closer to you, his lab coat hanging on one shoulder while his bag hung on the other. An umbrella settled on one of his hands.
“I told you not to wait!”
“And?”
“It's raining, and it's late!”
“Yeah, no kidding. I'm not blind.”
Without waiting for your response, he threw the lab coat on your shoulder, catching you off guard again. “Wear it, you'll get cold if you don't.”

He watched as you struggled with the sleeves. He clicked the roof of his tongue before walking closer, hands already hovering over yours.
“You're hopeless.” He spoke with a tone that was softer than before. Then, with quick, efficient movements, his hands adjusted the sleeves and collar of his lab coat.
Your breath got caught in your throat for a brief moment because of the proximity. “You really didn't have to wait for me, y’know?” Your voice sounded small.
“You get sick too easily. You have the immune system of a Victorian child.” The tone of his voice remained soft as he buttoned the coat properly, ensuring it was secured around your body.
You laughed at the last part, eyes admiring the way his hands moved with the same precision he had when working on an experiment.
He took a step back after he was done. "Besides, Byakuya would never let me hear the end of it if he found out I left without you.”
You grinned, already hooking your arm with his. “Yeah, he would probably say he raised you better than that. Let's go home, Sen.”

“Aren't you hanging out with Senku today? Why are you still sleeping?” She asked as she entered your room, eyeing your sleepy figure, who had just woken up.

You immediately got out of bed, nearly tripping over your blanket, and ran straight to the shower, one of your hands grabbing your towel on the way there.
“Be careful!” Your mother yelled out of concern.
After a shower, you scrambled to get ready. Your clothes were everywhere after you forgot to prepare an outfit the night before. After selecting one, you searched for a pair of socks before rushing downstairs.
“Senku's already outside.” Your mother said as she watched you hastily put on your socks, hands already reaching out for your sneakers.
You bid your mother goodbye, already making it past the front door. Your eyes spot Senku, who was waiting for you.
He turned right before your hands fell to your knees for support, panting and out of breath after you practically ran while getting ready.
“You should consider using an alarm.” His voice was laced with amusement as he knelt down, hands already reaching out to tie your shoelaces.
“You could've tripped over your shoelaces again.”
Your heart skipping a beat didn't help you at all. It was normal, you swore to yourself. He fixes your shoelaces all the time. It was just efficient.
Your breathing finally returned to normal. “I did, I slept through it.”
He chuckled before standing up, hand reaching out to flick your forehead. “Idiot, did you sleep late again?”

“And you're stubborn every single time.” He countered back, his grip tightening around your wrist, ensuring you wouldn’t inch any closer.
His grip felt firm, protective, and undeniably comforting. It felt like a silent assurance that you were safe in his presence. You didn't question it; after all, Senku always did things like that, didn't he?

One of the perks of living near Senku meant you could always crash at his place, and Byakuya allowed you to do so. Especially whenever he's busy training to be an astronaut on the other side of the world.
The living room of the Ishigami household was lit by the television screen across you, as well as the faint light coming from the windows. Senku's presence was near and grounding as the two of you watched another move that you picked, of course.
You didn't realize you were crying—not at first. The dialogues bled with a soundtrack that was clearly designed to hurt you slowly.
Beside you, Senku exhaled through his nose. He couldn't comprehend why you kept choosing movies that clearly tugged at your heartstrings.
“Statistically speaking, you've chosen emotional damage 6 times in a row.” He spoke, voice flat as he stared at the screen with a look of boredom. He wouldn't be watching these movies if it weren't for you.
“Shut up, Sen.” You laughed through your flowing tears. Your voice was shaky as the soundtrack was starting to affect you harder.
That was when he finally looked at you, a frown appearing on his face as he saw the tears streaming down, your hands already hovering above your eyes to rub them.
You were crying again. Rubbing your eyes on top of that, too.
“Stop doing that.” He said immediately, tone firm.
You blinked, “Huh?”
“Tch,” his hands reached out, pulling yours away from your face before you could even process it. His grip was gentle, quick, and precise.
“You’re going to irritate your corneas if you keep rubbing your eyes,” he continued, as if a doctor was scolding their patient. “Damage delicate blood vessels, make the inflammation worse— do you want me to continue?”
He warned, and you shook your head. “I'm just—”
“Crying and rubbing your eyes.” He finished for you, clearly unimpressed.
His hands never released your wrists. With a sigh, he pulled them down gently. “Why do you always choose movies that do this to you? It's stupid.”
You opened your mouth, ready to argue and defend your choices. “It's part of the experience, Senku.”
“Yeah, right, I believe you,” he mocked softly.
He shifted closer, hands releasing your wrists. And with the same irritating precision he used for everything else, he reached out for your cheeks, gently wiping your tears away with the pad of his thumbs.
His touch was careful, almost too careful. As if it were another adjustment made to a system that had slightly fallen out of equilibrium.
“The movie wasn't even great,” he muttered, yet his thumb didn't stop. “Crying over a predictable plot outcome?”
You glared at him with angry tears, yet he smiled in return as you lunged to attack him.
“Stop watching them with me if you're only going to judge me, you menace!”
His chuckle filtered the dialogue from the movie, letting you tug at his hair all you want.
“Who will stop you from damaging your eyes if I stopped?” He countered casually—too casually, as if it was a natural response.
You halted, your hands frozen in his hair for a moment before he gently pried them away.
“What?” He asked, red eyes already staring into yours, the light from the window behind you reflecting on it. “You're acting like I don't do it often.”
Right. He does. He does it so often that it has always felt natural. And somewhere along the way, you stopped noticing it entirely. Perhaps you’ve noticed, yet dismissed the thoughts. Never allowing yourself to look further into what those actions actually meant.
Because it was Senku.
Senku Ishigami, the genius who treats inconveniences as problems to solve for the sake of efficiency. However, he was also the boy who remembered things nobody else did.
And still, despite everything, you never called it anything else. It was just Senku's acts of science. You chose to dismiss the feeling of your chest tightening painfully as the realization was coming closer.
No, it was just his acts of science, right?

Wrong.
You were wrong, utterly wrong. Or at least you thought so, as the realization refused to be dismissed any further after being buried from years of excuses, the familiarity of routines, and the comfort that you understood Senku's nature.
Because that was easier. It was easier than confronting the terrifying realization that maybe everyone else had been right all along.
Perhaps it was never purely about science. Maybe it wasn't just about efficiency, logic, or the fact that Senku disliked being unable to solve inconveniences.
Maybe—
Your breath got caught in your throat again, between your tempting realization and the reflex to push it down. The thought settled painfully; it felt almost impossible to make it go away.
Your memories weren't much help either, as they replayed endlessly without permission, refusing to stay harmless.
The reminders, the way he noticed things before you did, the way he was always prepared for your inconveniences as if he had already calculated them, the way he always remembered.
The realization was everywhere, taunting you dangerously. You could see it in everything you dismissed as his acts of science.
Which was why the sight of the small metal tube of lip stain on your hands felt almost unbearable as it weighed and catalyzed your realization.
“Try it already,” Senku spoke from his desk chair across from you, who sat on his bed, your usual spot. He sounded mildly annoyed at your silence.
You couldn't really blame him. You've been silent for too long, buried in your thoughts that refused to go quiet.
It was almost funny, really. A lip stain was all it took to catalyze your realization. However, it wasn't just any lip stain. It was a replica of the one that you've been searching for endlessly for the past few weeks.
The same lip stain you cried over with embarrassing levels of devastation after losing it, especially since it was discontinued everywhere. You could recall the countless times you brought it up whenever you were with Senku. How the shade was your favorite since it suited you so well, and how you couldn't find any alternatives.
“You…made this?” You spoke out softly, finally finding your voice again.
He clicked the roof of his tongue. “Yeah? Why are you acting so surprised as if I hadn't made things before?”
Your eyes refused to leave the lip stain in your hands. The metal surface felt cool against your fingers. You noticed the engraving of your name on the packaging, which wasn't like the packaging of your previous lip stain with stickers that wore out easily after a few uses.
You heard the wheels of his desk chair roll closer towards you. “I changed the packaging since you always complained about the lettering wearing off easily.”
“How did you remember the shade?” You looked up at him, and your eyes immediately met his again. He was already looking at you.
He gave you his signature laugh. “That was the hard part. Learning cosmetology was 10 billion percent easier. I had to rely on information and pictures online, as well as yours.”
“I would've finished it within a week if you had tested out the shade samples yourself.” He smirked, “Byakuya kept whining that it'd ruin the surprise.”
You tilted your head, “Byakuya knew about this?”
“Of course. He caught me watching a cosmetology crash course at 2 AM.”
You found yourself laughing at his response. Your grin was wide, so wide that it made your cheeks hurt. You were genuinely so happy.
You kept smiling even when you were no longer laughing. Senku raised a brow, mirroring the previous tilt of your head. “What?”
“You're—” your grin appeared again, your cheeks were really starting to hurt. “You're so sweet, Sen.”
He paused in disbelief. “Hah? What are you talking about—”
Your sudden hug caught him off guard, and your added weight pushed the desk chair backward slightly. Your arms were wrapped around his neck, one hand still gripping the lip stain tightly.
“Thank you, Sen. Seriously, I don't know how to thank you enough.”
He clicked the roof of his tongue again, acting annoyed, yet the smile on his face said otherwise. As well as his hand that steadied you against him, returning the hug.
“You can thank me by actually trying it. How else am I supposed to know I got the shade right?”
The grin on your face remained as you pulled away. “Okay,” your voice became strangely soft.
You were about to use your phone screen as a mirror when Senku reached out to grab the lip stain from you. “It has a built-in mirror. Less hassle.”
You stared at him in awe. “Oh my gosh, you really considered the design of the packaging.”
He shrugged, handing the lip stain back to you. “The original design was inefficient. You would need a separate mirror each time.”
He didn't say anything else as he watched you apply it to your lips. A satisfied smile formed on your face, and Senku nearly exhaled in relief. He didn't fail; he succeeded in reviving your favorite lip stain.
Your eyes shifted to meet his again, your smile refusing to leave your face. “How do I look, Sen?”
He paused for a second, “The same but with a different shade of lip color.”
You gasped and hit him playfully. “How rude! You learned cosmetology but not about how to compliment a girl?”
He shrugged, leaning back in his chair. “Why would I waste my time with the latter?”
You rolled your eyes before admiring the shade with the built-in mirror. “You could at least say I look prettier.”
“You always do,” he responded too quickly, without any hesitation in the tone of his voice. It was too straightforward, as if he were reciting a fact.
You short-circuit for a few seconds, cheeks burning up slightly as you look away.
“You're really amazing, Sen...” You mumbled, admiring his creation while trying to ignore the warmth from your cheeks.
“Yeah?” A quiet chuckle escaped from him.
“I've built rockets, and this is what impressed you the most?” He added, a teasing grin on his face.
“Well, this one is the most unexpected thing you would do, y’know?”
He shook his head with another chuckle. “You're welcome.” He moved himself using his chair, a hand reaching for a notebook on his desk. “I haven't tested the transfer resistance yet, but it stains better than the original.”
“Why not?”
“Do you expect me to wear it?”
You laughed out loud, “Wouldn't you do it for science?”
“Nice joke.” He deadpanned. “I did it for you, not for science, idiot.”
Somehow, that confession hit harder than anything else.
“The Senku Ishigami is doing something that isn't for science? Is the world meeting its doom soon?” you joked mockingly.
“That's worse than the previous one.” He deadpanned again.
You giggled, hands reaching out to pull his chair closer to you, a mischievous idea had already appeared in your head just seconds ago.
“What are you doing?”
You didn't answer. Instead, you tugged his head down, closer to your face. With a swift motion, you pressed a quick kiss on his cheek.
You pulled away, satisfied with your results. There was a clear mark from the gloss, yet no pigment. The only pigment you found was the burning ears of Senku, dusted with a faint red.
“Results concluded, it's transfer proof.” You grinned at his frozen state. “You can log the results in your notebook now.”
A teasing smirk formed on your face as you eyed his silent and flustered figure. “You good, Sen?”
“Yeah…” he muttered out after snapping out of his frozen state, voice low as he turned away from you to reach for a pen.
Oh, you were savoring every moment. That was your payback after he made you spiral over his acts of science.
Perhaps the two of you wouldn't talk about it further for now. However, you were—as Senku would say it—10 billion percent sure there's time for that in the future.
For now, you'll mainly appreciate his acts of science, or his way of showing that he cared far more than you thought.

“Where did you learn how to make cosmetics, Senku-chan?” Gen’s curious question hung in the air, capturing Senku's attention.
The scene unfolded in front of the two of them, along with Suika and Soyuz, who were gathered around Amaryllis and you. Together, you were meticulously applying makeup on Kohaku’s face in preparation for the selection.
“It's chemistry, mentalist.” His gaze briefly flickered towards Gen and deadpanned.
Gen sweat dropped. “Yes, but I never expected you to touch that part of chemistry, Senku-chan…”
The scientist shrugged, dismissing the comment. And before Gen could question him further, you suddenly walked to Senku with a bright grin on your face.
“Sen, can you make my lip stain again? I've been missing it lately.” Your eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, something Senku could never say no to.
‘Ah.’ Gen's question had been answered the moment the words fell from your lips. The mentalist wasn't even surprised anymore. ‘So this is the so-called acts of science Yuzuriha-chan was talking about.’

Senku would make small child safe chemistry items for his son. His son barely a year old but crawling early for a 5 month old; it is not surprise to everyone in the village since he is the son of Senku Ishigami and got his smarts and intelligence. He named him Akira Byakuya Ishigami, he now understood how his dad felt when he saw Senku hit milestones because he was very proud of his son. His wife Y/N was just as proud of Akira for learning to crawl early but also worried as he always crawled towards the lab knowing that was where his dad was all the time. Senku had to make a door so his son didn’t crawl inside.
Senku was making blue prints for his son’s toys when he heard his son crying outside, Senku got up and opened it” Akira, you know you aren’t suppose to crawl away from Mommy…” He looked down at his son then picked him up Akira snuggled into his chest, hiccuping from crying” you’re going to be the death of us, kid. Fine, you can stay with me while I work. But no touching anything dangerous.” He said, carrying Akira back to his workbench. He sat down with Akira on his lap, keeping a firm grip on him as he resumed sketching, Akira watched his dad sketch while sucking on his hand.
Senku chuckled at Akira’s fascination with his work, finding his son’s curiosity adorable. He held up the sketch of the chemistry set for Akira to see, pointing to the different beakers and test tubes" look at this, buddy. This is how we make science happen. You’ll be able to do this someday too” he said, using his free hand to gently bounce Akira on his knee. Akira cooed and babbled in response, still sucking on his hand but now watching Senku intently. He looked at the flask in the picture then at the one on the table” ince” as he tried to to say science but couldn’t since he was still too young and had no teeth to form proper words but he was trying.
Senku’s eyes widened in surprise and delight as Akira tried to say “science”. He grinned widely, feeling a rush of pride and excitement” that’s right! Ince! Good job, Akira! You’re already learning!" He praised his son, kissing the top of his head. He picked up the flask on the table and held it up for Akira to see better” this is a flask. We use it to mix chemicals and create new things” He looked at the clear object, he touched it gently” icals” he tried to say chemicals. Senku’s heart swelled with joy as Akira tried to say chemicals. He couldn’t believe how smart his son was already, picking up on the scientific terminology so quickly. He chuckled and nodded enthusiastically” yes! Chemicals! You’re a natural at this, Akira. You’re going to be a scientist just like daddy."
He ruffles Akira’s hair affectionately. He set the flask down and picked up a beaker instead, showing it to Akira” and this is a beaker. It holds the chemicals we use” Akira said as he held the bottom of the beaker “Eeeaaaeerrr” *Senku laughed again, his eyes sparkling with amusement. He was completely enamored with Akira’s attempts to speak” close enough! Beaker! You’re getting there, buddy. You’re going to be saying full sentences in no time." He encouraged him, taking the beaker back and setting it down safely, he noticed that Akira was starting to droop a bit, his eyelids getting heavy. But he was still determined to stay awake and learn. Akira jolts awake, sitting up and whines like he was hating being tired.
Senku chuckled at Akira’s stubbornness, noticing how he would jolt himself awake whenever he started to doze off. He could see the frustration on his son’s face as he fought against sleep” hey now, no need to be grumpy about it. You need your rest, little man. You can’t learn if you’re tired." He gently rubbing Akira’s back in soothing circles. He knew that Akira was a fighter, just like him, but he also knew that his body needed rest to grow and develop properly. Akira moved so he was sitting sideways on his dad’s lap and leans into him, his head resting on his chest, holding onto his shirt and fell asleep.
Senku smiled softly as Akira settled into a more comfortable position, his little body going limp against him. He wrapped his arms around Akira protectively, holding him close as he slept. He could feel Akira’s tiny fingers clutching his shirt, even in his sleep" there we go, finally. Sweet dreams, my little scientist." He pressed a kiss on the top of Akira’s head. He continued to work with one hand, careful not to jostle his son too much. The lab was quiet now, save for the sound of Senku’s pencil scratching against paper and Akira’s soft breathing, the soft glow of the candlelight being the only light in the lab.
It was a rare day off from making the tank, it was a nice day and everyone was doing their own thing outside near the Ishigami Village, Y/N was showing Suika how to braid by braiding another little girl's hair, Suika asked" can you braid someone with short hair like mine?" Y/N said" kind of some people can braid short hair some can't but it's best to have hair at least past your shoulders so you can have more hair to work with" she carefully shows Suika how it's done with the little girl's blonde hair.
The little girl was staying still, humming softly Suika asked" once I get better at this, think I could braid Senku's? I mean his is sticking straight up and I can see in my head that his hair is about pass his shoulders" Y/N smiled" it is possible. Don't worry about not being able to get it the first try, took me a 5 years to be able to braid hair, I practiced on my grandma's hair when she was alive and sometimes Senku much to his dismay"
She chuckles as she remembered back in the old world that she would be in his room, braiding the back and side of his hair while he was tinkering with something and listening to him explain to her what he was doing even though he knew he would lose her since she was not a scientist genius like he was.
After Y/N finished the girls twin braids, she smiled as she touched them gently with happiness" thank you Chieftess" Y/N chuckles softly; Senku proposed to her under the first Christmas tree he made after three thousand years with the light bulbs and had a small ceremony. They said their vows and exchanged rings that Kaseki made then kissed, after the wedding everyone started calling Y/N Chieftess since Senku was the Chief of the village, she did try and tell them to call her by her name but some of the villagers forget so she stopped correcting them; it was still a bit embarrassing to her though.
Y/N smiled as the girl stood up and grins" I love my new hairstyle! I'm going to show Mommy and Daddy!" She waved bye and saying good luck to Suika on her braiding lessons and ran off. Y/N stood and pats her the back of her dress to get the dust off it" lets go practice on Kohaku and Ruri, they have a bit longer hair than the little girl then next is Senku" Suika's eyes sparkle under her helmet" I can't wait!" The two went to Ruri's hut knowing Kohaku was there helping her sister with herbs.
Two Weeks Later
Suika finally got good at braiding hair after practicing braiding some of the villagers' hair; male and female and kids, she gathered flowers and hurried to Senku's lab, she knocks on the door and Y/N opened the door as she was helping her husband mix some chemicals" oh Suika, what's up?" Suika smiled as she jumped up and down happily" I finally can braid different length of hair!" Y/N smiled" good job Suika!" she pets her watermelon" I'm assuming you are here for Senku?" Suika nods and came in the lab.
Y/N went over to the table where her husband was" Senku, can you stop for a bit? Suika wants to show you something she learned" Senku looked at his wife and at Suika and sets his flasks down" alright, I guess I can take a break" he stretched his arms above his head then bent his left arm, his hand on his right arm that was still raised then he bent backwards a bit with a grunt. He dropped his arms and went over to Suika" what have you learned Suika?" Suika said" it's nothing to help with science I'm sorry but Y/N taught me it just for fun. You need to sit on the ground and bend forward a little so I can reach your hair" Senku crossed his arms" braiding hair?" Y/N giggles" of course you would get it immediately Senku" Senku sits down and bends down a bit so Suika can reach where she needed to reach.
He said" you did the same thing when we were in middle school, you said you had something to show me and that I had to have my eyes close and when I did I had five braids in my hair" Y/N giggles" I'm half sorry, I believe you looked really good in them" Senku rolls his eyes" You're lucky I tolerated you and allowed you to do that and keep it on until we left school. Like I would go home with that, my dad would of teased me so bad because of it" Y/N giggled softly at that as she knew Byakuya would tease Senku about his braids.
Suika smiled" all done and I added flowers!!" Senku sat up and Y/N looked at her masterpiece; Suika braided one of Senku's bangs and added two more braids in the front and flowers in his hair, Y/N crossed her arms" looking good Senku" she looked around and saw a mirror piece and held it up to Senku. Senku tried not to cringe and make a face not wanting to upset Suika" very skillful Suika, not bad" Suika smiled happily" you look like a flower fairy!"
Y/N coughed in her hand trying not to laugh, Senku takes out a flower from his hair" if you two are satisfied, I'll take these off then" Suika's eyes water" don't you like it Senku...? Why do you want to take it off already? I worked so hard on the braids..." Senku sweat drops at Suika' shit...' Not wanting to upset Suika and get scolded by Y/N for being heartless, he sighs and kept the braids and flowers. Suika cheered and ran off to tell Gen and Kohaku what she did. Y/N smirks" good choice," Senku grunts" I don't need to look like a bad guy and get chewed out by you and the others for making Suika upset and cry..." He went to his table and picks up his flask and vial to mix some chemicals" take notes" Y/N just giggled and takes out his notebook and wrote what his findings were' I wish I had my phone to take a picture of him'
Later on Gen and Kohaku came in the lab, Gen smiled" oh? So Suika said was try," Kohaku said mockingly" wow... he really is cute, he looks like a flower fairy" Senku's left eye twitch, gripping his flask and vial, looked at the two intruders in his lab" I am working! Go away you two! You're so damn annoying!" his face and ears were red, Y/N giggles softly behind the book. Kohaku said" she did pretty well" Gen said" he is such a softie to children," Senku sets the flask and vial down and rubs his face" leave please..." Y/N giggles" now now Senku, be nice. You two don't tease Senku either, nothing wrong for him to be soft to the kids, he is still human and can show emotions"
Gen said" we know Y/N, it's just a bit new seeing him act soft, we are use to him being blunt and hardass" Y/N glared lightly" Gen watch it" Gen raised his hand in defense" I'm sorry Y/N-chan.." Senku sticks his left pinky in his ear" don't go feral Y/N, it's a normal reaction. I'm not offended" she looked at her husband" doesn't mean I can't be offended as you are my husband and I can defend you," Senku smiled softly" I appreciate it," Gen said" you two are adorable," the two left, Y/N walked over to Senku and strokes his cheek" I just hate that they get all shocked when you show normal human emotions.. It's like they forget you have those emotions.. It's insulting."
He sighs and placed his hand on hers that was on his cheek" it's understandable though since I rarely do show soft emotions like that, you are the only one who has seen me cry and being soft, so when people see it, it's new to them so I don't blame them" she sighs and leans into him and hugged him" I know..." she listens to his heart beat, he wraps his arms around her waist" I do appreciate you standing up for me, thank you Y/N. I love you" he kissed her forehead.
A bit sad we don’t get all the way downhair Senku like in season 2 but this works to~ we see slicked back hair Senku. He’s too sexy for his own good like that… I mean look at this man! God damn this man got to stop looking so good!! It’s so unfair! IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO LOVE THIS MAN ANY MORE THAN I ALREADY AM!? He’s remembering when he made that swimming suit for Byakuya. My heart….
I couldn't post all the story in one post since there is a word limit here. So two parts of the story
After that night Y/N was part of Senku's little friend group, Taiju was thrilled to have a new friend and apologized for believing some of the rumors the students were making up about him, Y/N forgave him and he didn't really want to make it a big deal. Y/N came to lunch" hey guys! I have a surprise" He sat down beside Senku, he was leaning against the tree reading about rockets while Taiju and Yuzuriha were looking at her smartphone, watching cute cat videos. The three looked up when they heard Y/N, he pulled out four bento boxes" I told my grandma I made friends, like real friends and she was very thrilled to hear that and she made you three bentos as a thank you for being my friends. She made the traditional kind of bento food so onigiri in different shapes that I thought fit you three, Teriyaki salmon and chicken karaage along with Tamagoyaki (sweet rolled egg), blanched broccoli and pickled cucumbers also with grapes and some berries and with-" he pulled out a big thermos" Lemonade!" Taiju's eyes sparkle" oh wow! Your grandma made all that for the three of us?! All last night! She rocks!" Y/N distributes the different bentos, he gave Senku a green cloth that held the bento, Taiju a brown on and Yuzuriha a pink one. They each opened their bentos; Senku had four flask shaped onigiri, Taiju had four dumbbells, Yuzuriha's were four cat heads. Yuzuriha's and Taiju's eyes sparkle in awe and wow, Taiju said" this is so sick Y/N! Did your grandma make these?!" Y/N said" I did the shapes as her hands weren't steady" Senku lifted his up and moved the onigiri around" not bad, you got the flasks precised" Y/N smiled, blushing lightly at Senku's praise" I tried to do rockets but it just wasn't keeping shape. So I figured flasks would work to" Senku hums" either works, good job Y/N" Taiju grins" these are awesome Y/N! Tell your grandma we said thank you. Itadakimasu!" The three repeated him and started digging in their lunch, Taiju was in heaven" god these flavors just melt in your mouth!" Senku said hums as he tasted his, the end of the chopsticks in his mouth, eyes closed" it's pretty good, better than my cooking and just slightly better than my old man's" Yuzuriha praised" the flavor really explodes on your taste buds, was your grandma a chef in her youth?" Y/N smiled" no, she was a stay at home wife and mother. She told me her own grandmother taught her how to cook great food with limited food" Taiju said" well compliments to her and her grandma! This is really good" Y/N smiled softly" I'll be sure to tell her you guys enjoy her cooking. The bentos are yours to keep also" Taiju grins" awesome! I will decorate mine with stickers when I get home!" Yuzuriha said" that sounds fun, I'll do that to." Senku said" you'll need to find water resistant stickers then because normal stickers will lose it has a special type of glue called pressure-sensitive adhesive. The adhesive relies on a balance of two molecular forces—adhesion which means sticking to the surface and cohesion that sticks to itself which allows it to bond without needing water or heat. Also when you scrub your bento box it'll rub the pictures you had off and they'll flake off like paper." Taiju said" okay" he had no idea what Senku said but agreed to get water proof stickers to make it last longer on his bento. Y/N looked at Senku" can you tell more about science later Senku?" He looked at Y/N" yeah, come by the science club and I'll explain it while I work on a project there" he nods, kind of excited to learn more and listening to Senku's yapping, he really liked listening to Senku explain things.
After school, Y/N called his grandma telling him he was staying late to help Senku in the science club and that the three enjoyed their bentos and they said thank you for making the meal and the bentos. His grandma smiled" I'm so happy to hear your friends enjoyed my cooking Dear, you be careful coming home," Y/N slid the door of the room where the science lab was to the right" I will Grandma. He's been gone for two years and it still hurts and I miss him, I know my grandma does to." Senku takes a socket wrench and clicks on a 1/4 inch drive on it and reached in the hatch, face in it" can you shine some light in here" Y/N grabs a small handheld flashlight, clicks on it twice so it was on its dim light not wanting to blind Senku in that tiny space he moved so he could shine the light in the hatch without being in Senku's way. He holds it by his head and moved it where Senku told him to until he was where he wanted him to be. Senku started tightening bolts, the clicking of the socket wrench echoed in the metal he said" it's okay to miss him and it will take time to heal, you won't ever stop missing him but the hurt won't be as painful as it was before. From then on almost every night they meet up on the hill and look at Orion's belt and just talk, whatever is troubling each other, Senku showed his sensitive side and talked about his insecurities to Y/N and Y/N never judged or made fun of the young scientist, he listened and did his best to give Senku advice and assurance he needed. Whenever they did have small fights and had time away from on another, the other man knew where to find the other; at the hill that had a good view of Orion's belt and the other stars. Y/N stared at Orion's belt" Betelgeuse is still there thankfully, I read back then it could explode into a supernova any time or up to 100,000 years, it has only been 3,000 years so the star has 97,000 years left or at least I hope, it still could go any night; it is in its late stages of core carbon burning, which typically lasts around 1,000 years. Some astronomers hypothesize it could be in the very final stretch of this stage, bringing the explosion closer on a cosmic scale" Senku smirks" you been looking it up and reading any latest news about it huh?" Y/N nods" yeah, I was curious about it, I mean like you I was curious about space after hearing from Byakuya about how you were curious about the moon following you" Senku blushes red, looking away to hide it but his ears gave him away, even after all these years and being married to Y/N he still hated blushing in front of him" damn that old man... telling you about my silly childish questions and experiments..." Y/N chuckles" it's cute and I'm glad you were so curious as a child and asking so many questions. They will do all they can even if they are still learning science to build a two way rocket," Senku sighs but smiled softly at the moon" yeah.. I know they will, I will shut them down but they are stubborn and I know they will work hard.. Like Xeno and I will be with the first rocket and probably many others since no first rocket is ever successful" Y/N leans into Senku" we made many impossible inventions in the stone world, this won't be any different" Senku wraps his arm around Y/N's shoulders and rubbed his left arm gently" yeah... Senku said nothing for a minute then said" over time human kind will progress, one day a trip to the moon will be a common place, mark my words. Until that day comes; a scientist, a fighter and a pilot will wait patiently, petrified by their own doing to save the whole planet. They'll wait as long as it takes for science to come save them. Years, decades, centuries... We'll be hoping on a rocket ship with a functional petrification device for a one way trip of a life time."
Chrome was staring in disbelief, Y/N looked down, hand shaking" you knew and you continued working on the rocket.." Senku looked at Y/N" P/N (Pet Name)... It would take too long to make a return craft and we only have enough material to make the rocket ship," a loud slap echoed on the ship, everyone gasped as they watched Y/N slap Senku hard on the right cheek, his head turned a bit shocked but not surprised at his husband's action, he looked at Y/N with a red cheek, Y/N shakes, hand still up" we could have found more material! Why did you have to tell us this now!" Senku hated seeing him so upset but he had to tell everyone the rocket was not coming back after it landed on the moon" I wasn't going to keep that a secret, I am not heartless," Y/N stared at him" I wish you didn't.. At least... It wouldn't have made this more heartbreaking and upsetting! Now I am going to watch my husband and friends go to the moon knowing they will not be returning for who knows how long!! You're a fucking asshole Senku Ishigami!!" He ran off inside the ship.
Everyone didn't move, they didn't know what to do right now. They never seen Y/N this upset over Senku's recklessness, not even when Senku went to get the sulfur acid or him riding the tank into Tsukasa's empire or fighting Hyoga or any other dangerous things he had done so this was a new one. Senku sighs, rubs his stinging red cheek" let him cool down, get some rest, we still have work to do tomorrow" they walked off but Gen. Gen said" he has a point Senku... throwing this at him when the rocket is close to done..." Senku said" don't start with me Mentalist, I know what I am doing. He'll cool down and accept this. He always knows I am always going to come back no matter what. Just this is going to be a bit longer than what he thought.." Gen said" I hope you know what you're doing Senku..." He walked inside the ship.
Senku sighs and looked at the full moon, slouched a bit as he leans his arms against the railing, the wind blowing through his hair, bangs and cape making it wave gently" I'm doing the right thing, it's to fight against this Why-Man, keep the people from going back to stone and going extinct... I have to do this.." His eyes drift away from the moon and down to the sea, eyes watering but no tears spilled" right Old Man...?"
It was late and Y/N came out from his room and went on deck where Senku told everyone about the one trip to the moon, he was sitting on the railing, staring at the stairs. His e/c (eye color) were red and puffy as he just finally stopped crying, he stared at Orion's belt, lost in memory lane. Senku couldn't blame Y/N for being upset with him, his swollen cheek had went down after putting a cool rag on it, he won't admit it out loud but he did deserve that slap. He just sprung that on his husband out of the blue and so bluntly of course Y/N was use to the bluntness but this wasn't something Y/N wouldn't let slide. He got up from his hammock and went to the deck and he saw his husband sitting on the railing and takes a break and walked over" you're going to fall in if you aren't careful..." Y/N scuffs" maybe I should after all you're leaving me" Senku glared lightly" that is not funny Y/N and you act like I am leaving forever, it'll only be... maybe a few years, you guys will find someone who will build a better rocket and get me, Ryusui and Tsukasa off the moon. You'll also have Xeno so you won't be totally be without a scientist."
Y/N looked at him and said sarcastically" yeah, having Xeno by our sides will make us be so much better, not at all thinking about our friends on a moon, trapped in stone waiting for us to make more advance technology to get them back. You act like it'll be a piece of pie but it's not! You... You may not be dying but it feels like you are... Being on the moon for who knows how long and me being here on Earth just going on with my life... growing up while you will be 18 still... I'll be older than you... I can't do that Senku... not without you" Senku sighs and looked up at the stars" you're strong Y/N, I believe you will be able to continue going on without me. You'll help bring me back. You'll be Xeno's new protégé, he'll teach you everything he knows like he did with me but you'll have hands on than I did, I just got emails. So I am actually jealous, so you better show me all he taught you when I come back" Y/N chuckles lightly" yeah.. yeah, I will. I'm surprise that brain hasn't gotten fried from all the knowledge you have int here."
Senku smirks" I can cram more in this brain than you think. So what are you looking at? My new grave site?" He looked at the moon, Y/N glared at Senku" you want another red swollen cheek Senku?" Senku chuckles" no, no it took me an hour to get the other cheek to go down, I really can't have another one, I want sleep without painful throbbing on my cheek" Y/N grunts as he looked back at the sky" I was looking at Orion's belt and remembering when we met, middle of high school six months before the petrification" Senku leans against the railing and hums" I remember... It only feels like yesterday..."
Flashback
It was a beautiful day out, the windows were open, letting in the rare cool air inside homeroom, it was five minutes before the bell would ring signalling next class. Senku was drawing his next project on a piece of paper, everyone was hanging with their friends at other desks. Taiju was sitting backwards on a chair in front of Senku" what are you coming up with next Senku?" Senku said" another rocket with bigger rockets to hit the atmosphere without blowing up" Taiju said" sounds awesome! You'll have to show Yuzuriha later on" He grins, Yuzuriha was in a different homeroom than the two. Senku went to grab his eraser when he accidentally knocked over his bag making his things fall out, before he could get out of his chair someone was gathering them neatly back inside. He looked at the boy, he had short hair, his height was (your height) slicked back with gel, e/c staring at him after picking up the last time which was a key chain of a simple star with NASA in it that Senku's dad Byakuya sent him from America while he was training there. The boy held the backpack towards Senku without a word, Senku clears his throat and took his backpack and key chain" thank you.." The boy nods and left when the bell rung. Taiju watched the boy leave and said" his name's Y/N L/N, I heard around from other students that he was expelled from his previous school for putting one of his classmates in a coma just because he looked at him the wrong way," Senku looked at Taiju as he put his paper away in his bag" you shouldn't believe any thing people say Taiju, they only say things like because they like to add gossip and rumors to make this school more interesting and to survive the boring lessons," he got up and walked to his next class.
At lunch, Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha were eating under their usual tree when they spotted Y/N coming out, throwing away what looked like a soaked brown bag, he was also soaked. He took off his shirt not noticing the three and rings his shirt out and lays it down on the ground so the sun could dry it, he dries his face with a towel and puts on his gym shirt on, Yuzuriha asked" you don't think he is being bullied do you?" Taiju frowns" impossible, he would of put a stop to that right away, he would have told a teacher or ended it himself," Senku said" I told you Big Oaf, not to believe in all that is being said about him without proof and I doubt he would do any thing serious that would get him kicked out of school and probably in juvenile detention." Yuzuriha frowns" it's sad his lunch got ruined though... Looks like he doesn't have an extra one.." She looked at the two" you have any extra food?" Taiju looked at his bento" I can't eat all this rice and curry, my mom packs a lot so this will fill him!" He grins, Yuzuriha said" I have some extra tonkatsuto (panko-breaded pork cutlet) Senku grunts" I am not giving him my lunch, he should of have had money to buy school lunch," Yuzuriha said" come on Senku, don't be mean. He might not have the money right now," Taiju said" yeah Senku! Don't be cold hearted like the people who dumped water on him and his lunch!" The scientist's eye twitch and grunts" fine... I guess I can spare him some of my rice but only for today, I am not charity" Taiju had a bigger bento so the two slid their portion of food onto the bento and Taiju got up and went over to Y/N. Taiju held out the bento" hello! I'm Taiju Oki! We're in the same homeroom, my friends and I saw you throw away your ruined lunch so we wanted to share some of our extra food to you," Y/N looked at the bento and looked behind Taiju, Yuzuriha waved politely, Senku was looking at a book on his lap as he ate the rest of his rice. Y/N takes the bento" thank you..." Taiju grins" you're welcome, you can bring the bento back tomorrow since we won't see each other until homeroom," Y/N nods and he ate with his own chopsticks that he didn't get to use. Taiju went back to Senku" you should of waved or at least a head nod," Senku said" I am not acknowledging him, I only did that because you two would of never got off my back for not contributing into giving some of my lunch to him."
After school, Senku left late from school after doing some mini projects in the science club room where he was the president. He yawns as he walked home, one strap of his backpack slung over one shoulder, a soda in his hand he got from a vending machine on the way home, he turned the corner and saw Y/N sitting on a hill, hugging his knees and looking at the sky. Senku was about to walk away when he saw a single meteor flying by and lets out a small gasp as it was rare seeing a meteor flying by mostly it was multiple ones flying by but a meteor show was int he late fall, this one must of broke free from a big meteor and now was traveling across space. Y/N turned his head hearing Senku's soft gasp, he looked over his shoulder at Senku tears in his eyes, he then looked away quickly and rubbed his eyes, Senku sighs and walked over and sits down beside Y/N and hands him his unopened drink, Y/N looked at the bottle and took it" so you heard the rumors?" Senku scuffs" yeah but like I listen to illogical stuff like that, there is no proof of these rumors that the students been spreading about you. I like proof before believing any thing and I have seen you in the hallways and you are pretty much like a lone wolf; avoid altercations and never acknowledge the students throwing paper balls at you in class. Pretty pathetic."
Y/N sighs" yeah... I'm not really a fighter, I was in one fight at my old school because someone insulted my grandma's homemade lunch and I used too much strength and sent him to the hospital. It was pure accident, I was just in a blind rage since my grandma raised me since I was 4 after my parents abandoned me," Senku hums" I guess that would be understandable, defending your grandma's cooking and her honor." Y/N sighs" after that happened, I got suspended two boys that started just got detention since all they did was voice their opinions and didn't throw the first punch even though they did it on purpose to get a rise out of me and got what they wanted " he air quotes the last sentence" Grandma moved me here, hoping for me to have new start..." Senku said" well you are doing a good job staying out of trouble that's for sure" Y/N chuckles softly" yeah... I have" he looked at him" thank you for sharing your rice even though I saw you were kind of annoyed. I'm assuming Oki-San and Ogawa-Chan pressured you into contributing Ishigami-San?" Senku scuffs" call me Senku, Ishigami-San makes me sound old, we are in the same year and that is my dad's name. They did, like I can reject with that big oaf's persistence and I would never hear the end of it either so might as well just do it. Next time bring money in case a jerk ruins your lunch okay? I am not always going to give you my food" Y/N laughed a little" I'll remember from now on, thanks" he opens the soda and drinks it and looked at the stars" they're so bright here" Senku said" this spot rarely gets hit with the streetlights so it makes sense why the stars are darker here. What stars were you looking at? Any constellations?" Y/N looked at the sky" Orion's belt and the Big Dipper since they are easy to spot even in the heavily lighted areas of the city" Senku hums in agreement" well the Big Dipper is easy to spot because it never drops below the horizon. It circles the North Star, Polaris, allowing it to be seen every clear night of the year. As the Earth spins, the Big Dipper appears to rotate around the North Star and while always in the sky, its orientation changes known as a spin depending on the season." Senku looked around and found The Big Dipper" in the Spring it appears high in the sky, right-side up, often described as spring up, for the summer it looks like it is pouring out towards the ground in the evening, in the Autumn it hangs low on the northern horizon in other words it falls down from what some Astronomers describe it and last in Winter it appears to be hanging by its handle from the bowl"Y/N listened to Senku as he explained the Big Dipper without interrupting" wow... You know a lot about space and stars Senku" Senku said" I been studying about it since I was five, I want to go to space, I made a few rockets with the help of Taiju and Yuzuriha, none survived when they hit certain altitude, they would blow up but I wasn't too discourage. With Science it is trial and error" he looked at the young genius" can... I help with a rocket if you plan on making another one?" Senku looked at Y/N and smirks" I could use more muscle power and it seems you want to learn more about science.
