Since I announced that little "break" a few weeks ago, I gave up checking on this blog's activity. Why? I was 100% set on abandoning it -- Muse activity ran off whenever my emotions said no, which -- in my opinion -- led to people unfollowing me for lack of posts. I'm pretty sure the inactivity started because of it, but there might've been other reasons besides that.

I logged back on today to see if people wondered where I went, but I'm greeted with an activity full of followers. So, to those of you that followed me during my supposed break, I'd like to thank you all; it's nice to know that people still like to see me on their dashes, though it's a very small amount if you only know me from this blog.

Now, school is back in session, so I may slip out of activity more often than not, but please know that I'm now back and it's going to take a lot of confidence for me to get back into the groove of things.

Just because people are supposedly "similar" doesn't mean one is copying the other, guys; that's not the conclusion to jump to.

I mean, let's throw it in my standpoint and compare this to Let's Players, yeah? So, Person A LPs a game, causing it to become more well-known. Eventually, Person B finds out about said game and does a LP of it as well. Person B is then accused of copying Person A, really only due to the fact that Person A LP'd the game first. Not only is this going to end up in the middle of nowhere, but no points will be proven unless justified.

-- Now, let me get this back on the rails of logic for a 'sec.

From my few years in the Tumblr RP community, I've seen a wide variety of unique writing styles developing, including my own. I'll fully admit a couple of things I do I have, indeed, learned from others; however, I have no intention of flat-out copying someone else. I mean, more than one person knows how to use the html feature.

Or, if I've completely lost you at this point, let me quote my good ol' Theatre teacher:

What was with everyone at the Woodlands being very intimidating looking? She’d thought the bald gentleman was scary enough, but as soon as she spotted this guy coming down the stairs, she was quick to find a place to hide.

Behind the suit of armor? No, her puffy pants would stick out easily. Instead, she would settle for burrowing under the desk by the front. Certainly the sleeping guard wouldn’t mind her hiding under his propped up legs for a few moments, right?

From receiving objectives from angry phone calls to running off into the town to fix them, it seemed. Will you ever get any sleep, Bigby? Business or not, it had been an abnormal number of days since he'd had the chance to even sit down and close his eyes for a few minutes. Surely, somewhere down the road, this was going to do more harm than anticipated, whether it be to him or to someone else.

...Well, there was no use complaining about it; it'll hopefully be done before he had the chance to think about it again.

A nonchalant pace down the stairs kept said thoughts in motion; however, they were pushed to the back of his conscience once he reached the bottom. -- Wait a second; there was something...off about this room. It wasn't easy trying to place what it was, but there was at least something. Just...what was it?

He cautiously stepped to the middle of the room, hoping to pinpoint exactly what was clawing at his conscience.

Maybe it was...

"Alright, who's there?" he huffed, glancing around the perimeter of the room. That's what was off; a different scent...supposedly! This was really just a wild guess more than anything, but that would sound the most logical to him. -- At least, if the answer to this question of his wasn't too obvious.

She arches a brow in surprise, fully expecting a verbal lashing in reply but is pleased to find the opposite. “You could always try green tea or something, that’s supposed to be a great alternative.” Esme speaks like there’s somehow science to back that claim up, but in reality its just her own experience. She used to smoke, to cool her nerves, but had slowly worked her way off. 

She frowns a bit, looking Bigby over slowly, but not unkindly. “No offense, Sheriff, but you look like you could use a week long nap. Fabletown as crazy as always?”

Did green tea deaden the senses? He didn't think so; that would just be a bit too...coincidental. Was that even the right word? Probably not. He lowered his head ever so slightly, raising his hand up to meet it. When was the last time you got some form of sleep, anyway, Bigby?

"Sleep is the last thing on my mind...as much as I need it. --" he muttered, half wishing it was the opposite.

"-- And this town is more than crazy without all the bullshit; I should know." Surely, with that string of words, the other wasn't aware of the events that had been creeping up behind his back as of late. This was all the more true to present day, minus the fact that said events were now dead and gone behind his actions and the casualties that came with them.

...It would definitely be for the best if she didn't know, either way, though nothing about these events seems to have truly stayed hidden in the shadows for long.

"Uh-huh." he nodded, arching an eyebrow. He knew he wouldn't get anywhere arguing about it; there were reasons for what he did, but they would be too hard to explain without having to go into detail. Instead of mulling over exactly why this was brought up, he stomped the cigarette to the floor; he could clear this up a lot easier if that wasn't in his mouth.

"I know they're bad, but they've been more help than not for me."

It was quite the fine day, for once; the sun was high in the sky, the birds were --

-- ...Oh, it's not the day to be poetic.

The sidewalk stretched itself far enough to let just the right thoughts come together and make sense out of some future notions. -- Just what was he doing? Where was he going? Was it a good idea? -- Surely one of those should be sparking some form of a conclusion, but...none of them really were.

Eventually, his destination was in his line of vision. -- The vast array of color schemes in just the right order in the window were enough to catch his attention; it's time to stop roaming around town like a confused idiot. -- To tell the truth, he never thought he'd be standing in front of such a place; it didn't sound like an activity he'd be taking part in.

...You're staring at a flower shop, Bigby; just get it over with before someone questions your actions.

Before someone could hopefully take the time out of their day to do that, he nonchalantly stomped his cigarette to the ground below, then pushed the door open.

"I --" was blurted out as a first instinct, but he stopped himself short. -- Was that...?

It had to be; he'd recognize him anywhere.
