Eden's Cove had become as much of a second home as it could without Lois or his girls there to welcome him home at night. He still found himself weighed down by grief from to time when he saw an older man with their grandchildren. He didn't look it but he still felt his age when he let himself dwell on the loss for too long. As he patrolled the wharf though, he tried to push the feelings away and just focus on how gorgeous the surrounding area was. Between the new job and whatever was happening with Gia, he could see himself attempting to be happy again. Or some semblance of it. As that thought crossed his mind, a quick snap made him turn his head. Clearing his throat, he injected on the scene he'd come across.
"What do we have here? Trouble, fundraiser - none of the above and I should just mind my business?"
