my personal favorite wolverine novel <3 published in 1994, it depicts a unique take on logans childhood + adulthood, and is a must read for wolvertooth fans ! (spoilers -> instead of silverfox getting killed, logan crashes out and leaves her, immediately replacing her with creed)

SABRETOOTH: UNLEASHED

my personal favorite sabretooth novel <3 !! big props to @gynandrous n @coldbycrossfade for this one. its a superior adaptation of the Sabretooth 1993 + X-Men Unlimited issue #3, changing a couple things and adding new scenes (for the better) to further flesh out his character

X-MEN: CODENAME WOLVERINE

a novel thats half Team X adventures (including silverfox being on the team, like how she was in the animated series) and half present day logan n mystique adventures. is it wolvertooth? who's to say, depends on how desperate u are to read between the lines..tho this logan ended up pissing me off so bad that it resulted in me writing my 1st wolvertooth fic

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN NEWSPAPER ARC

heres the answer to the constant question of 'are they brothers in the comics?' yes. this is the comic where theyre brothers. the only comic where theyre brothers. (written that way due to the recent release of X-Men Origins i assume. the black origins coat with sabretooths comicbook style body is a nice look !). i had to compile this from an actual newspaper site with a subscription, since i couldnt find it hosted anywhere else

my design edit for sabretooth from the new wolverine trailer..i gave him a trim lol ^^

i also changed the placement of his nose n mouth and added some bangs, heavily inspired by his design in X-Men Legends 2 !

i think in hindsight i probably shoulda guessed that wolvertooth friendship would be a thing in the new game based on the bad sabretooth design alone….universal law that the weirder looking the sabretooth, the more wolvertooth potential theyre legally allowed to have

ive made posts about my favs here + here, but Mary Shelley Overdrive n Weapon X 2017 is unfortunately kinda the best he gets for character lore..

Sabretooth Special 1995 briefly shows off his living space a bit, similar to Mary Shelley, and he makes a few pop culture references if i remember correctly

Sabretooth: Back To Nature + Wolverine 2003 #13 -> #19 show him doing his actual job(again, like Mary Shelley) and give some good kindling for who he is as a person(cuz his motives are more than just carnage)

bonus recommendations -> Uncanny X-Men Annual #18 + X-Men 1991 #33 (they just came to mind for some reason)
