Love how this one page alone disproves that post that claims all other Batfam members are the serious, secretive, workaholics whenever they're on a team, and Steph is just "girlypop" or whatever. NOPE! She's can be brooding and determined with the best of them. Her intense need to prove herself and be the hardest worker because in her mind everyone is always looking down at her (and she's usually right but in this one case she probably isn't!) haunts her!!! Bats are always the weird workaholics Steph included!

Also she and Yara continuing to be besties gives me life...the Batgirl and Wonder Girl duo we all need...

I'm conflicted about this idk. For one, unless the cope is right and we're actually gonna get a Kori solo, we don't have enough context to justify why NOW she's deciding that earth can't be home anymore. It feels so "welp the plot demands it lol so Imma leave now". But on the other hand I want Kori space adventures so fucking badly if this is what we have to do to get that then fine. I just hope that if they're not gonna let her hang with Donna or something they're gonna introduce new characters that actually matter and won't become forgotten whenever we eventually get another titans reboot

I don't wanna jump the gun and say it's gonna be good just cause Brombal is locked in but I genuinely do not think that I've had expectations this high for a Titans book pff. I love NTT so far and I know that I'll love it more whenever I continue it but that book has issues up the ass lmao. Brombal's work on Batgirl has shown he actually give af about his female characters and idk if I'm reading too much into it but from how not subtle the shade is it really feels like he's genuinely fucking tired too and is really invested in doing something different? Which in its own way is as scary as it is exciting because now that I give af again the disappointment is probably gonna hit harder 😭 same shit happened with Batgirl 😭

There is something deeply fucking annoying about the way that ya'll talk about Yara Flor fucking sincerely. Yeah, her Wonder Girl run was ass. Yeah, they really should have fucking involved some actual Brazilian peeps in her creation (and ffs may Brombal do good research, have a consultant and not write another caricature). But guys the answer to that is not to fucking scrap her off the face of the planet and never write her again tf??? I am east african, living in Uganda; Storm is not good representation to me and Tchalla is even worse. To this day, I think they're pretty awful east african representation and no Ayodele is not doing a good job imo pff. But fuck man that doesn't mean that these two pillars of representation in comics need to disappear forever??? Why are you guys mad that Stephania is gonna have a dynamic with her???
