how did she became so damaged?
when did it all started?
was it when she started giving all her love to a boy at a young age?
was it when the family feuds begin?
or was it when she started receiving way too many disappointments from the people she loved?
when exactly did it all begin?
perhaps all the small things that hurt her just began to pile up.
stack by stack,
she received the pain
until without realization,
broke her.
each wound she received turned to a scar
till there’s no space left on her body.
now each scar just overlaps the other
till it empties her skin and flesh and bones.
now there’s nothing left but her soul.
however, even the soul is starting to drift away by all the huff and puff of unkind words thrown at her.
maybe someday there will quite literally be nothing left of her.
just completely an empty void.
and maybe that’s why she became so damaged.
