Luke: I can't stay. At least if I'm going, it'll take a while because I'll always be moving.

Luke: I'm just scared and lot Jack.

Luke: My brother is here to kill me and my sister.

Luke: And he killed all my other siblings years ago.

Luke: And I thought he was locked up. I thought my coven dealt with him. I saw him yesterday but he said he's here for me and Liv.

Jack: What? Why are you leaving? Did something happen? You don't have to leave

Luke: Yeah. I don't know how you'll take it but I've got to be honest with you Jack, it's really life or death.

Luke: And I fully trust you. Just don't flip.

Luke: Jack, I just wanted to tell you I'm leaving.

Luke: And it really sucks because of why I'm leaving but I just wanted to say I'm really glad I've got to know you. You're definitely one of the good guys and I didn't set out to be friends with anyone here but I'm glad to say that I made a friend in you. I'm scared but you're probably the only person that cares I'm leaving so I thought I'd message you.

Luke: It sucks, but I really going to miss you.

Leven: He'll find you wherever you are, Luke. It's easier just to face it.

Leven: Yeah he isn't very subtle. Told me that too. Probably told everyone he met that, actually.

Luke: I managed to run when we were kids and I'm still alive

Luke: I just feel like I have no stable options that'll keep Liv alive. Unless I merge with her...and she becomes leader. But then, Kai will absorb her magic. And then if you merge with your brother, he'll do the same. Or just have enough magic to kill you.

Leven: Successfully? You're still running, you're going to find danger now that he's back wherever you go. Facing it is..it's going to be better.

Leven: Don't you think Kai will go after her? Like wouldn't some kind of warning be ideal?

Luke: I don't know till a try? We can stay in the town my brother is in? He'll find us. And he'll kill us.

Luke: I'm not even sure she is still alive? And if she is, then Kai would go after he's killed us. It's why he's here. He said he wants reunite us to our siblings.

Justin wasn’t sure how popular it’d be, but the minute Luke’s face went from smiling to not, Justin noted it must have been something he did. Justin figured he probably should be more cautious in how he expresses himself. “Writing doesn’t necessarily have to be lyrics or poetry, journals are fine. You’re expressing yourself in some form. When Luke went on about relationships, Justin wasn’t that all familiar with dating, so he really couldn’t put much input on the topic, but it seems like Luke was speaking out a bit more. “Sometimes it’s okay to be single. Spend time with yourself right?” he smiled. Now that didn’t necessarily mean that Luke should go back in the closet. “So who is older you or her? because if you are, I’m sure you have dirt on her you can use as backup” he laughed, the sibling banter, that was always fun to listen or hear about. “Laid back would be your default, and then depending on how the conversation goes, is how you react.” that was just an observation he had of Luke.

Luke must have realized how he sounded and felt a small guilt for the moment but they conversation continued. He thought he'd killed it but Justin didn’t mind how he was which in result made Luke feel more prone to opening up about things. For the moment, he stuck on the quiet side of the conversation and just nodded his head. Diving into a talk about his relationship was probably the last thing he imagined talk to Justin about but here he was doing just that. He took a large sip on the drink he had before blinking rapidly for a short amount of time. “You’re right. I think it’s good if I stick that way. They don’t seem like a good idea to me. Maybe it’ll change when I met ‘the one’ that everyone talks about. Or whatever. But I’m good for now. I have my sister so I’m good. Her, I’m not so sure she’s okay being stuck with me.” He took that moment to laugh more at himself than anything else. “Oh, she is. By five minutes.” Luke went on to say. He realized he hadn’t mentioned he is a twin until now but the five minutes part was a giveaway. “So no dirty there.  She had the headstart.” He nodded his head. “Anyway, they say the first twin is born so that they have experience and as a test  in the world to pass to the second twin. “ He mentioned. He’d read that somewhere but it was unclear where. He just thought it might be entertaining.  “I guess I’m not too bad then.”

Leven: You can't run forever, Luke. Please, come stay with me. You guys will be safe here. I'm going to keep you prisoner but..I think it'll be good for you.

Leven: Do you know where Josie is?

Luke: I can try. We've done it before.

Luke: I haven't seen her in years. I don't know. I'm just hoping she's happy and far away from this mess.

Leven: I know why he's here and as soon as he arrived i though not of me or the coven but of you two. my cousins.

Leven: I get it, I'm not the worlds best host but I thought since we're family you'd want support. Even the strongest people can use alliances.

Luke: I've never been this scared. Not since I was a kid...

Luke: I do all I can to make sure Liv is safe. But for once, I have no clue what to do.

Luke’s words were resonating in her head. He had met him too. And yet, he was at home, sitting around, doing not much about it. “You saw him too? And you’re just sitting home, doing nothing?” Liv was angry but the anger wasn’t really directed at her precious brother. He was more a way to get it out of her chest. “This is worst then the coven finding where we are. This is Kai Luke. We’re not talking a merge here. But murder. Again.” Liv’s head was spinning. Never had she imagined that Kai would get out of his prison world. That was a nightmare they all lived through ages ago and it was behind them. It was supposed to be forgotten, something no one talked about. And now the monster was here. It was too much for the blonde girl. Liv sat down on the bed. “He didn’t know it was me. He said his siblings should be frightened that he’s here and that he wanted to reunite them with some long lost siblings.” Her words were kinder, she was no longer lashing at Luke. The world was spinning. There was no way they could fight Kai on their own and for the first time, Liv wondered if running really was the answer. Wouldn’t he just chased them? Running from the coven was a thing, but running from Kai was a different matter. “How did he get out? How could this happen?” There was no denying it, Liv was scared.

Luke could tell just from his sister’s tone that she was pissed. He couldn’t agree with all her thinking right now. How could he just be sitting there? She was right in all ways. He’d just was in shock about the whole situation. Thinking of possible ways Kai could have even escaped his prison. And not one of his theories even were rational. He couldn’t explain it and didn’t want to stick around for Kai to explain it to him. “I’m sorry. I get it, but I’m thinking of what to do.” Luke said with a shaky tone. It was clear he was equally as scared as his sister was. He was thinking of what to do. How they could protect themselves from Kai. Because if he even touched a witch in town, and Luke knew of a few, he’d come straight to Liv and himself. He just had flashbacks of their old sister Josette protect them from their murderous driven brother, Kai. “Liv, I get it. Just calm down. And I know that’s a tough one given the situation but we’ll get going. And we just need ways to protect ourselves from him if he did manage to siphone magic from someone.” He rushed his words as he through some stuff into his bags. “He said the same kind of thing to me. To him, I’m Mason something...” He looked up at her. “Fake name was better than giving him my real name. He introduced himself first so I had to think of a way to get out of there.” Luke found himself using festures to justify what he was saying, as if they’d help him. “I don’t know, Liv,” he frowns and stood up holding a bag. “But what I do know is that we’ve got to leave. He know’s that we’re in town so we’ve got to get out of here.” He toook a step close. “Hey, look at me. We’re going to be okay. We’re going to get out of town and he won’t find us.” He said, trying to convice her. But he needed to convice himself more.

“Hey, Justin the Fanboy sounds like it’ll be popular.” he said with a wink “A story I’ll tell you some other time.” he said with a light laugh. Justin wasn’t sure if Luke would hear the stories of the kids he visits and their undying love for Taylor Swift. Once Justin heard Luke laugh, he could tell that things were going well, which was good, he liked to make sure things were comfortable. After all being the mediator in his pack, he would hope he could ease any tension. “Whatever inspires you to let out the heartbreak, be that in writing, poetry, music. You’re free to do what you want.” he smiled. “Do you say that because it doesn’t always turn out right?” he stated since Luke told him about a recent breakup. Justin was just prone to think positive.  Taking a drink of his beer “You know your sister tells you that because she can right? probably to tease you.” he chuckled. “I’ll be the judge of that and I’ll let you know.”

Luke kept the smile present on his face and his face was focused on Justin’s before breaking it the second he winked at him. It was a force of habit. He did it whenever any guy winked at him. It was probably just him being uncomfortable or the idea of a guy hitting or teasing him kind of made him nervous. One of the two. “Right. A show for the ages.” Luke said with an over-enthuastic cheer for the moment before mellowing back down. “I don’t think I’d be good at any of those. I only write in my journal but it’s not for short novels or anything like that.” He shook his head at the idea. Normally, he’d get defense when people pry into his love life but with Justin, he could tell it was only for conversation. “Exactly.” He nodded his head. “Relationships aren’t really my thing at the moment. Too messy. All the guys I’ve dated are assholes. I can only say I had one decent one. I’ve dated a few but apparently going back into the closet is a good option. So if you want to talk techinically. I’ve only had one guy I’ve called a boyfriend before. But that wa short too.” Luke explained. Probably in more detail than he itended but it was out in the open. “I get it. She’s my best friend. As dramatic as she is, that’ll get her friends.” Luke laughs along with him before taking a sip of his own beer. He didn’t really like how beer tasted but drunk it anyway. “Thanks. Apparently fun isn’t my default setting. I wouldn’t know what is.”

Leven: because you literally said i couldn't protect myself without you?

Leven: you're so naive Lucas, accept help when you need it or you both will die. but at least it's together, right?

Luke: You think I care about what you think of me? My brother is here to kill me and my sister and you are telling me what I'm supposed to do about this?

Luke: Honestly, I think we're better off without you.

Justin was under the impression that Luke was very reserved and only really talked out of his comfort zone if it was on topics that interested him. Justin was friendly to everyone. “Some crazy fans and always dishing out CDs , saying you should hear her new album and such.” when Justin would visit the pediatric unit at the hospital, he’d hear the young girls playing Taylor swift. Smiling once again “Well guess she knows a lot about breakups.” once the bartender handed them their drinks, he held his up. “Cheers to new acquaintances and no, I don’t mind having  you around Luke.”

“And that sounds like a very long story that I’m not 100% that I want to hear about. The diaries of Justin the Fanboy. God, that sounds like the name of a very bad TV show.” Luke laughs as he was started to get more comfortable talking to him. He didn’t often try to make friends but this seemed to click natural and as reserved as Luke tended to be, he was at least letting the humorous side of him show. It was a start at least to possibly opening up to him in the possible future. “I’d kind of know a lot about breakups. Think I should turn to music?” He joked. “But no, short-lived romances are my thing. “ He nodded his head before smiling at his drink and back to Justin, mimicking his actions. “To new acquaintances.” He repeated. “And I hope I’m too much trouble. Honestly, I’m kind of boring. At least that’s what my sister says.”
