my mom moved the “you can do whatever when you’re 18” transition goalpost to “wait until grandma passes away” which is frustrating but also that old woman genuinely thinks spicy food is satanic so I kind of understand the sentiment of wanting her to rest in peace believing she still has the one granddaughter she prayed so hard for (I have 20+ male cousins)

If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize. Your panic/anxiety attacks will only get worse and trigger more frequently if you constantly avoid contact with The Public. Not saying that you need to be a social butterfly- but there is a genuine problem with not being able to order your own meal at a restaurant. And it cannot be solved by always having someone else do it for you.

I actually can’t watch people playing dinosaur horror minecraft mods because I get so worked up about them not knowing the names of very obvious dinos and not knowing whether or not something is a herbivore or carnivore and like every time without fail I’ll watch the players operate on the unwavering notion that therapod=aggressive and quadruped=docile and it hurts especially if it’s obvious the creators of the mod are also big dino nerds and put a lot of love into it
