Here is a music video I worked on throughout the spring with my bandmates in Wood Spider. We all rotoscoped different segments from a live video of one of our songs. I’m super proud of all of us for being able to complete such a project and trudging through all of the mental breakdowns.

We're going on tour this summer through the Northeast, Quebec Province, and the Midwest! Not only that, but for part of it we'll be on tour with Blackbird Raum! Hey I just saw yer post about your midwest tour but none of it would happen to be reaching Massachusetts July 19th or 20th would it? Because if so I could book you on a cool festival I(Kevin) am running with my friend Nori in Worcester, MA. Thanks!

Unfortunately, tour is probably gonna have to be over before then. It's possible that we'll be able to pull together and make it work, though. What's the deal with the festival? Where is it/who else is playing/would you be able to pay us (hate asking that)? Even if we can't make it work, we WERE planning on playing in Worcester in late June!

Album Review: Decadence

Sometimes I come across some odd music.

Some of it is bright and messy and glorious, like Animal Collective, while some hide muscle and sinew made of strange stories under an otherwise normal skin.

Wood Spider’s 2014 release, Decadence, falls into the latter -an album made of smoky sea stories that speak of something lurking beneath all those miles of water.
