27.

I have 27 days to go. Those days will be filled with tears, hugs & long talks for the people that mean the most to me. For the past couple days, I've been going through my belongings & had to decide what I need to put in my luggage that I will take for the next six months. I feel that this is going to be a turning point in my life. This will be a chance to expand my horizons, meet new people & do something that will change my life forever. Disney is something that will be on my resume for the rest of my life. So many new doors will be opened because of this opportunity. I've put so much work into making this dream a reality & now it's so close that I can almost touch it. All my new hire paperwork is done & ready. It all comes down to going to SDF on the morning of August 13th & getting on a plane. Of course, I have to finish packing, work my last shifts at Kroger, have my going away party & go through some hard goodbyes. This is all just a part of the process. When I get to Orlando, my life is in my hands. Kinda scary but also, I'm looking forward to it. I plan to go to the parks, work hard for the company & make even more beautiful memories. Today I went through pictures from the past years... I've done so much with my life & this is just another adventure to add to the list. Saying goodbye to Louisville is going to be hard but I know I have so many people rooting for me back here at home. Disney, see you REAL soon. I cannot wait to meet the Mouse, my roommates & all the people in charge of making my dreams come true. Here goes nothing. 😁
