Around the World Twice in 215 Days

On Christmas day, when the Indian Navy’s Kesari—a landing ship tank (large)—entered the Port of Maputo, Mozambique became the 15th friendly nation to host an Indian Naval ship under SAGAR (Security And Growth for All in the Region) in the eighth such deployment.In doing so, Indian Navy’s ships have spent 215 days at sea clocking a cumulative distance of about 40,000 nautical miles, which is nearly twice the circumference of earth under a single mission.

Bauxi Jagabandhu , leading freedom fighter from Khurda region in Odisha was hanged in open ground at the foothills of Barunei Pahad .A memorial pillar also has been installed .However as was seen yesterday (24-9-17) like most of tourist places in Odisha , this place is also successfully neglected .Don’t know how a visitor knows about the fighter ! No board on the site .

Had darshan of two sister deities Barunei and Karunei on the foothills of Barunei Pahad near Khurda this evening .Pithaa and Khiri are the Prasad here .According to the priest this practice had begun when the mother deity asked the Gajapati of Paralakhemundi to offer such items in Bhog .

We. Call it as Koraput Guest House at Bhubaneswar .Its residence of our friend Bidyadhar Choudhury .I stayed for two days and offered my gratitude to this house as it might be the last time I was staying here as Bidya is leaving Bhubaneswar shorty for Koraput .

This evening we got the opportunity to have dinner in this totally vegetarian hotel at Siripur , Nuasahi , Unit 8 of Bhubaneswar .I liked it because of its traditional Odia food . Wonderful taste .You should have a taste of it .

MCI visit to Koraput went Positive

According to sources the three member team of Medical Council of India was satisfied with the overall development in Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical college and Hospital at Koraput before leaving the town today .The team would make one more visit this year before giving an ultimate OK signal for another 100 seats of next academic year , sources added. Congratulations .

A teapot made of Copper & bronze by followers of Buddhism at Tawang on India - China boarder in Arunachal Pradesh .This was purchased and brought to Koraput by Priyabrata Patra , traveller & writer who had visited the place recently .Its craft work is wonderful .

Loss to State as helicopter too Wanted to Stay in Bhubaneswar

Extra expenditure to the tune of Rs. 11.89 lakh per flying day was made for    Choppers mandated for anti-Left Wing Extremism(LWE) operations  , as the helicopter had used Bhubaneswar as its base instead of Koraput, which is closer to LWE  affected areas. CAG Report said .. Source : tathya.in

Opinion : Dont know in how many cases of Injustice Bhubaneswar will become the Centre place !

Chopper Misused in 84% Flights in Odisha !

Choppers mandated for anti-Left Wing Extremism(LWE) operations in the State were mis-utilized by Ministers, reveals the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General, (CAG) which was tabled in the Odisha Legislative Assembly today.

The helicopter hired by the State Government for anti-Maoist operations flew Ministers and Officials in 84 Percent of the total number of sorties... Tathya.in

Opinion: Its a serious issue and those who had flown in these flights should be asked to pay the rent with a Fine .
