saw toy at a local church last night. seriously the best gig ever. not only are they my favourite band at the minute, but i was right at the front literally 3 metres away. doninic broke a string on his guitar and then his contact lens rolled behind his eye on the first song. he threw down his guitar and was going crazy behind the projection, was fucking cool, but i felt bad for him. ended up meeting them afterwards, just chilled in some room full of food and booze. spoke to panda about what pedals he uses (woolly mammoth) and he said i should write and album in my gap year and come play with them and charlie agreed! didn’t really talk to tom, he seemed pretty quiet, but he was still happy to get a picture and sign the albums. oh yeah, and they played a new song. it was really good and it’s got me v. excited for the new album.
