thank you all for 200 followers. ♡ i was aiming to hit this milestone by the time of my birthday ( the 29th of this month ) but instead ー imagine my surprise when i hit it so early! thank you all so much for following me, interacting with me ic or ooc ( even if i am terribly bad with the latter ) and bringing me joy on this here roleplay acc. karin is so precious to me and i am so happy to be able to share her with you all. thank you all so much! i love you all, and this is just a sign of my appreciation for my precious mutuals, whether we have interacted or not ( and i always hope to roleplay with each and every one of you! )

Even the word burned in enough to knot her insides into a mess of anxiety ( yet her expression betrays nothing; she is steady and unyielding, even in the face of her worst fear ー vulnerability is not an option here ). Eyes of crimson dart to him, silently analyzing his chakra ー it’s overwhelming, new. She’s curious, to say the least ( and what’s curiousity without a healthy dose of wariness, if not fear? )

“And who are you?” she changes the conversation abruptly, tone abrasive ー moving the topic to something less uncomfortable.

and what i mean in power is the comparison between his RSE and ORAS counterpart, since maxie still needs to use a mega stone ( which isnt cheap, it still means he holds a bond as strong as RSE maxie, maybe even greater )

i lov elove how they portrayed maxie it rlly is refreshing other than his RSE counterpart, what maxie lacks in power he makes up for in excellent leadership skills, his attitude is more dominant ( and while my hc for him still holds true, that he does not speak to his subordinates informally, he still holds a light tone towards courtney ) he rlly has his no bullshit mindset, able to make a decision just 2 minutes before brendan arrives.

//01: Headcannon File.

My maxie, through his split arc and through his Pokemon RSE & ORAS canon, is A Type 3 Anti-villain: The Well intentioned Anti Villain. Commonly referred to as the Well intentioned extremist, He believes his motives, no matter how grotesque in practice will be met, with the full intent in bringing forth a better world for everyone. He has a firm “all or nothing” mindset, akin to archie’s though less vocal & impulsive Which is shown in its full glory seconds after awakening groudon. He has patience, while not completely stable, gives everyone a chance at first glances since he does believe he has some control, which the protagonist easily thwarted at every end of battle.

The transition from being the Esteemed Magma to Father of the world is short, just like the sudden realization of his canon counterpart ( when the mighty groudon threatened the fate of the hoenn region ). While throwing away the thoughts and feelings of humanity, the hoenn government & the fate of the entirety of this island region, maxie gains a rather lysandre-esque mindset, his newfound power ( which includes geokinesis & pyrokinesis ) allows him to crack open the earth with a twitch of his thumb, dry the lakes & streams, cause the deserts to flare at his very command, & bring forth a vast dry-out of the region’s life & resources, making 2 steps ahead of groudon before he is ever awakened ( this splits off into the world story, to recap on the context of this paragrah: maxie has become the embodiment of the very earth, slowly growing into his right at the age of 14 to 42., he experiences the sounds of the earth talking to him, immunity to fire, etc etc. please read through the head cannon tag for more info ) however through his skewed intention he wishes to clean the world n rebuild it, seeing as the earth will survive through anything, he knows through apathy comes forgiveness, in both through the eyes of humanity & the actions of the embodiments.
