((Aw, thank you very much! I would be lying if I said I don’t miss this blog, I wish I could do things again, but I rarely have had the time. Quick Update
Hey guys!! It’s been a long while hasn't it? Well I am popping in to say when summer rolls around this blog will get picked back up!! (Although I am planning for it to be sooner!!)
With the upcoming new game, and spoilers will be under the cut, I can say that I’m already growing inspiration to pick this blog back up!!

So I don’t exactly have much in the way of shelter or food and trying to combine those with winter doesn't mix well...like oil and water. It’s super cold and even when you get inside you're still cold because all the snow melts into your clothes so you're now wet and cold and--- I just hate winter!”

[ ☾ ] “Not sure.”
Marx pondered the question to himself. He went through an awful lot and never really thought much as to what he would do from here. He was banking on success with his plans but since he has failed, he didn’t know what to do from here.
[ ☾ ] “I set up a little house for myself, but that’s not exactly a plan.”
His gaze shifted downward to the ground beneath him, dozing off in thought leaving behind a small amount of silence before he spoke up again.
[ ☾ ] “I’ll think of something.”

I had really lot of fun drawing these two adorable beans together❤ This is one of my favourite soft ships so far! I find the way Marx acts around Grill/Gryll damn hilarious~ he is technically a little tsundere, but in reality Marx cares a lot about her~ ;//w//;

An Unexpected Meeting (closed rp w/worldofkirby)

The storm clouds had come upon Gryll much faster than they had formerly anticipated, the witch lowering down upon their broom as they hurriedly tried to make their way home. Though the rain had yet to actually reach their location, it was only a mere matter of minutes before it would inevitably arrive. If the flashes of lightning off in the distance weren’t enough of an indication, then the sharp gusts of wind that preceded such an arrival surely were.
As the edge of Whispy Wood’s Forest came into view, the wind gusts began to increase in their severity. Gryll was forced to hold on to their broom handle for dear life lest they risk getting thrown off by the overpowering air currents that seemed to be doing everything they could to act against them. While the witch had certainly flown through windy conditions prior to this, never before had they dared to remain outside during such weather as they were now facing.
It wasn’t until the wind seemed to die down and Gryll began to think they were home free before a particularly-violent and unexpected gust came at them dead on. In spite of their best efforts, a sharp gasp escaped their lips as the witch’s grasp upon the broom failed and they ended up falling swiftly toward the ground that was rising up quickly to meet them.
It wasn’t long afterward that Gryll blacked out, surrendering their life as lost—but not before crashing through the roof of a humble little hut belonging to a certain jester.
As the winds of the day kept coming without any sort of mercy, the purple little puff was pre-occupied with desperately trying to keep up with the constantly falling planks. Since his little hut was made with very loose items, certain planks of wood kept falling with every gust of wind that came at the makeshift house. Every time he would finally fix one of them another one would fall right over. He couldn’t seem to catch up no matter how hard he tried and how fast he waddled around. It’s not like he wanted a house this cheaply made, at this rate he will be sleeping on a pile of broken boards and straw when the night would fall. Just as it seemed like the winds were finally dying down he was struck with more disappointment as the harsh gust blew over what little work he accomplished. Drawing out a sigh he walked on over to the inside of the house to fix the same board for the 100th time today. Using his teeth he grabbed the wooden plank and lifted it to a nail that stuck out from the ceiling. He hung it lazily and watched as it swung back and forth sadly when he pulled away.
[ ☾ ] “There.”
He smiled up at the worn down wall with pride of what little work he put into it, hoping no more winds would strike down the only house he has. Luckily, no winds came by after putting it back up. He kept staring up when all he could hear after that was a loud crash coming through his ceiling which sent him jumping in the air as the straw from the outside layer came falling in ontop of the new stranger that was now in his home and left a hole in his ceiling. Turning around to see the aftermath, his heart was nearly pounding out of his chest from how scared he just got from that. His mismatched eyes glared down at the puff and simply just watched. He didn’t say a thing, he didn’t do a thing, he just stood ready for whatever this person might be planning on him.
It took a little while before Gryll finally came to, the peaceful dusk of twilight hovering over the land providing a false sense of security before the imminent thunderstorm off in the distance. Their eyes slowly opened, blinking a few times in agitation of the thick layer of dust and wood shavings that hung in the air following their harsh fall through the ceiling. They coughed a few times, spitting stray pieces of straw out of their mouth before finally sitting upright with a heavy groan as they proceeded to rub their sore limbs.
The jester standing off to the side wasn’t noticed initially as the witch gazed around at their surroundings, brushing their hat and gloves clean before they stood up and came close to bumping their head on the low ceiling. Whatever this place was, they certainly didn’t think much of it nor about any value it may hold. It was quite dirty, and their little tumble had only worsened its cleanliness and ultimate quality. Hopefully they would be able to exit as soon as possible and make their way home before the rain arrived and threatened to soak them to the skin. Besides, they knew how frightened their companions were of storms. The thought of them huddling up while cowering in terror was enough of a weight on the witch’s heart on top of having to worry about anything else.
[☆] “Oh…! Umm…err, h-hi…?”
It was only then that Gryll took notice of Marx, stopping in their tracks upon seeing the evident glare pointed in their direction. It seemed there had been a resident staying in this clumsy little hut, making the witch nothing more than an unexpected—and potentially unwelcome—guest. First they had been blown off of their broom during a windstorm and now they had to face whatever wrath this jester threatened to throw at them. Could this day possibly end on a worse note?
The Jester gave off a couple of blinks while harboring a look of confusion. His eyes gazed around the other before trailing up to the open hole in his ceiling again while his heart was hopefully starting to calm down. He didn’t enjoy being scared like that and now he has a stranger in his house to deal with. As the dust was settling down around them and his gaze was soon locked back onto the other, he perked up with a quick and easy response.
[ ☾ ] “Hello.”
His head tilted to the side to see every inch of the new unexpected guest. The little poofs at the end of his two toned hat swayed with his motions and dragged through to dirt. His hat had looked roughed up and dirty as it was and it didn’t help that he was letting his hat drag through like that. Not even just the hat, Marx himself look a bit unclean and even had a couple nicks and scratches on him, the most noticeable being two lines being on his forehead. He perked up with another quick and soft response.
[ ☾ ] “You put a hole in my roof.”
His tone didn’t seem angry or annoyed, more along the lines of bland and monotone. It’s almost like he didn’t even care about it which was surprising. Giving off another set of awkward blinks, he remained still in his place. The only thing that moved was his eyes around the room to see what else could have happened. He took a deep breath in. Then a deep breath out. He didn’t seem to be phased by what had just happened at all.
Gryll stood still for the longest time, afraid to move and risk breaking the still air that surrounded them. Honestly, they were waiting for the eventual outbreak and scolding from the other. Thanks to dropping in uninvited by literally crashing through their roof, it was clear the jester had all rights to be angry. The witch did not once break eye contact with Marx nor did they dare to even blink, the tension in the small hut rising with each passing second. It got to the point where Gryll simply wished the other would say something—anything—to break the dead air. A scolding they could take; just hurry it up so they could get out of here before the storm hit.
[☆] “Huh?”
Safe to say, the witch was caught off guard by Marx’s curt and calm response, due in part to how emotionless he was when saying it. While the tension seemed to break and Gryll finally allowed their watering eyes to serenely blink, they were still expecting the other to be outraged over the fact that his hut was practically in shambles now thanks to their unexpected arrival through the roof. Even a simple shout of disapproval would suffice, but why then did he appear unfazed by all of this?
[☆] “Yeah, I know. I’m sorry; I didn’t mean for it to happen. I’d be willing to help you fix it, though.”
While their apology was slightly rushed upon delivery to the point that they had barely registered their words before saying them, it was more or less a way for them to save face and assuage any negative and angered sentiments Marx may harbor toward them. Honestly, why and how did they somehow last this long without being subject to the jester’s rage? That was what they truly wanted to know.
The Jester's head tilted from the one side to the other, curiously glancing over the new guest as they gave the rushed apology. He picked up on the fact that they seemed to be nervous still which was to be expected, those sorts of things weren't exactly a casual conversation. He thought that maybe a nice joke could help break the ice as well as the others nervousness.
[ ☾ ] “Seems like you really fell for me there, huh?”
He grew a small smile after cracking the little joke. The smile seemed to be a little forced but was overall met with good intentions. He turned his attention back upward at the gaping hole above him to stare over the sunbeam that was now shining through, squinting at it since it was too bright for his eyes. The little purple blob was indeed a bit upset at the fact that he now had to fix his house even more but failed to show it. He figured it would be best to take up the offer since he already was working hard to keep up the place. Another wind gust like that and he wouldn’t even have a home anymore.
[ ☾ ] “I wouldn’t mind a little help.”
Another awkward blink as his eyes locked back onto the other. His slit pupils grew bigger now that he wasn’t looking right at the light above him.

Anyways, here’s Gryll’s costume for The Spirit’s Masquerade Ball this upcoming weekend. I was hoping for a vampire/witch fusion of some sort. Is there a proper name for such a thing?))
