those robots tho light
âYes, they are impressive, arenât they? Who let you in again?â
{đ};â Once Amy was pulled own to the robotâs lap, she shivered again but then started to calmed down. The pinkette then reached up to hold Crashâs arms.
And wrapped her arms around it.
Of course, he didnât object to his arm being held. Crash only smiled a little as it happened, and moved his free arm to rub her back with the non-lethal part of his drill. Heâd never seen her like this... it was scary, and it made him want to hurt whoeverâd hurt her.
The thought made the smile melt off of his face.
âYouâre safe here, Amy. Donât you worry.â
{đ};â She trembled again at another booming voice, this time belonging to one of her robot sons. As nice as the gesture was, the loudness made cringe a bit at this state.
He was quick to pick up on her mood. Crashie lowered himself onto the ground, and pulled Amyâs head into his lap as carefully as he possibly could. Soon, heâd have to go to Light for an upgrade. âDonât worry âbout âem. Theyâre dead meat.â
  âHey.â
âI think the last thing you wanna do right now is PISS ME OFF!â
{đ};â âCrashy!â Here came the pink floof as fast as she could when she heard him. She didnât even care about the present, even though she fully appreciates it, she was more happy that he came for her.
Amy wrapped her arms around the robot and nuzzled him. âThank you so much, sweetheart~!â
The brief giggle that followed was almost childish-sounding. Crash Man wrapped his arms around Amy to return the hug (heâd gotten very good at watching where his drill hands went). âWell, âf course! Anything for you, and itâs your day!â
âHey, I heard itâs a special someoneâs birthday!!â
Enter Robo-Crashy, a fully wrapped present actually impaled by one of his drills (it was way easier than trying to balance the thing). It was a good day! A great day, even! âHappy birthday, Amy!â
{đ};â âI do have other friends but that doesnât mean your any less wonderful! I love every single one of yaâ equally!â
âAlso, no Crashy! Forte isnât a bad guy, he just looked out for me because I probably shouldnât be stayinâ up this late and uh yeah. But please donât be tryinâ to blow him up. Heâs like your uncle in a way and he lives in a trash can, so please take some pity on the poor fellaâ.â
âSounds like Proto Man. Heâs a good guy, too, so I guess theyâre sorta the same. Tell him I said hi, if you get to see him and he doesnât hurt ya. If he does, Iâm blowinâ him up.â
{đ};â âHey, hey now. Itâs okay Crashy. Theyâre just a bunch of losers that have nothinâ better to do, so its best to give them the desired react that they want.â
âIf ya say so. Just donât let âem get to you. Just like you said, theyâre jerks. I think, at least. Iâm guessinâ youâve got friends other than me, and Iâm willinâ to bet theyâre pretty cool too.â
âAlso, Iâll blow the hell out of this Forte guy if he gives you any trouble.â
âYou pricks had better not be picking on Amy.â
The SWNâs eyes grew wide, realizing what was happening. Â Before he could even attempt to move, the clock hands hit him. Â Each one was like a blast to the heart, his feelings also stricken by them.
Bass would hit the ground with a thunk and wouldnât get up right away. Â He had to hide the hurting that was growing inside before he got up.
A purple beam of light would come down to reveal a robotic, purple wolf. Â This was none other than Bassâ loyal companion, Treble. Â He didnât snarl, only trotted over to his companion to see if he needed to take him home.
Once Bass hit the floor, Flash Man got the hell away, rolling to his feet and taking aim alongside his companion. The two exchanged confused looks. The Black Bomber wasnât acting like his usual self; ordinarily, through their experience, their actions would have been a death sentence. Instead, when Treble arrived, he seemed more mellow than theyâd ever seen him.
âBass, just get the hell out of here, before the authorities make us shoot you.â Flash was bound by Asimovâs laws, as was Time Man. If the police arrived and ordered the pair to open fire, they would be forced to by coding. âTake Treble with you. Iâll visit after hours, brother, so long as nobody gets hurt tonight.â
Hopeful nodded, closing her eyes and pointing her head more or less towards the ceiling. âTime travel- that makes sense. Though given the energies and frequencies of these waves, youâre closer to what I do, more-or-less, but with a bit more time, Iâm sure you could do it. Time travel is really hard to accomplish, after all, probably the most fragile energy combinations known to, well, anyone.â
Honestly, all this gave the telekinetic a head ache, and she soon found herself rubbing her eye and at the scar where an eye should have been. âIf ya say others have done it, then itâs possible. Butââ
âWe know itâs possible. Weâve seen it in action before.â Xander Payne was living proof of that; even if nobody had seen him for years by now. âItâs just a matter of pinpointing how. Weâve been at this for years, and we know people have messed with it in the past. We just want a sure-fire way to replicate it.â
However, Flashâs mind was already wandering. âChanginâ the subject a bit... what do you mean by being close to what you do, exactly? It sounds important.â
Oh, so you don't recall. That's understandable, Dr. Light. Taloura was the robot that rescued Cut Man a while back. I hear she is phobic of most roboticists.
  âHow⊠unfortunate. She has my condolences.â
Dr, Light, you've met the reploid named Taloura, right? What's your current impression of her?
âI canât say that Iâve ever met this personâŠâ
ââŠOr that I know what a Reploid is.â
Crash. Amy's birthday is on the 23rd of this month. Maybe you should do something for her?
âCrap, really? Iâll start lookinâ at gifts and stuff as soon as I can!â

(â);;â This would be one of the fewer times the reformed SWN known as Bass ended up heavily damaged to the point where his systems had shut down for the time being. He was in need of help.
How this happened? Even Bass himself wouldnât know. Usually, he was strong enough to face any enemies, but he was overpowered quickly this time around.
If Trebleâs teleportation device was still working, he would have teleported himself and Bass back to Light Labs, but instead, he had to send signals that would lead to their exact location, along with signals of distress.
Lucky for Bass, the signals were received almost immediately. It was rare, if unprecedented, for this to happen; they would have to take action, and fast. Doctor Light called for Rock to go to his brotherâs rescue, and that was just what he did, teleporting off to Bassâ coordinates as fast as he possibly could.
Mega Man and Rush were on the scene, the former touching down in full armor, arm canon equipped. Carefully, he took a step forward, then another. âBass? Are you there?â The worry in his voice was evident immediately. âWe got your call... are you hurt?â
hopeful-hugz replied to your post:Â Â âI never married any of these robots.â
(Really late but-) Hope: âIf youâre talking about me calling Triage âMomâ itâs more of a parental figure thing.â
âI see! Well, I do hope sheâs kind to you.â
âLost Dad to thisâŠ? No- no Rock never told me that stuff, then again, that does end up becoming a theme with me, I donât know a lot of things. Especially when it comes to this stuff, Cam normally is the Science and Math person, since she works with radioactive chemistry on occasion.â Although the news did surprise her some, Hope seemed to perk up at some of the familiar energies in the area, some similar to when she travelled. It only made her that much more curious.
âI-I do recognise some of the differing energy waves though. What exactly are you guys trying to doâŠ?â
âTime travel!â Flash Man gestured to the unit that the scientists were working on in front of them. âEr, time manipulation, at least. Weâve done both, but the formerâs been... hard to pinpoint. We know that Xander Payne prick somehow jumped around in time, and weâve got a feeling Light saw some visions, at least, but we donât know how or why. Thatâs essentially our goal here.â
