This is my new hp tattoo. its my third one and i love it. I am a massive hp fan, and listen to the audio books every night. Ive battled with childhood and adult depression and the metaphor of the dementors really spoke to me.

I got this because I love the tale of the three brothers and the meaning behind it.

I also take it as a symbol that the books, Harry Potter’s story, will live on forever. My favorite story within the story is that of Snape’s. We are told to hate him throughout most of the books until the very end when we learn that the person we hated had a story of his own and it’s one of the most beautiful. I also love that my tattoo reveals other Harry Potter fans.
