A rainy forage rewards me with 7kg of this delicious fungi, chicken of the woods 😊
i think what’s wrong with me is that i don’t live secluded in a hut in the woods. i don’t bang enough rocks against enough things. i just haven’t forged any swords

The definition of wage labor is that when you do the work, you don’t receive any of the wealth you’ve produced. Your wage is the price the employer will pay to buy your labor power for the set time you’ll work. Since they’ve paid for your time and labor power, they have full ownership over all wealth you make in that given time.
Your wage is nowhere equal to the amount of wealth your employer will make off you; after all, if it was, why would they even hire you when their aim is to make a profit?
Wage labor isn’t about someone getting to own all the wealth they’ve worked to create. It’s about your life force being owned by someone else and put to work so they can make money.
