The “Digimon Kanshasai 2018 -Special Meeting in Odaiba-” event in Japan announced that a new Digimon Adventure film is in the works. Character designs of a 22 year old Taichi Yagami and Yamato Ishida was also unveiled at the event. The new film project is part of the overall 20th anniversary celebration of the franchise.
