my differential equations prof asked about my necklace (two keys) and i explained the origin of the keys and then showed her why i wear them (this guy, who holds an extremely special place in my heart)

and she was so genuine and openly impressed by my art it made me so happy. she was like "you called him a character, do you write the stories as well?" and when i said yes and made a joke about about spending too much time on them she said "no such thing, they make you happy, spend time on them." and like. yeah. that made me feel really good. that's all. post over, have a good afternoon

name: Avalinch (im sorry i don't know how to properly do phonetics) (my best attempt: aahv-uh-lyntch)

diet type: opportunistic omnivores (primarily fish and rodents, will eat berries if necessary or as a treat) - they will not anything larger than them (they will hunt larger creatures, but won't eat them)

environment: the coastline of an island country (called Tunris [ton-ris]) that is predominantly tundra and taiga (they mostly live in the taiga areas)

temperament: towards non-avalinches (or really anything larger than them) they are extremely territorial, extremely aggressive. do not approach. they will rip you apart. even the pups. towards other avalinches, however, they are extremely sweet and caring (and Very protective). they would be classed as a k-selected species if they were on Earth.

group name: orelle (or-el-aye), plural: orelles

solo or group: they live in orelles ! they remain in their family units until they die (live around 17-25 years on average; oldest documented individual was 32, but it's assumed others have lived longer)
