Once, a long time ago, Charun sent a piece to Remele Namaaq’s new gallery in Outglut. It was on a whim- she was accepting new works (one or two, so they wouldn’t overshadow her own), and even though Charun doesn’t care about the approval of others, they decided to take a chance.

Remele returned the sculpture with a scathing review attached. Reading it, at first, Charun felt nothing. They usually don’t. And then they felt rage. She completely misunderstood the meaning of the piece, which was a criticism of how art has become a joyless cashgrab devoid of creativity, and Remele dismissed it, saying it was garbage. It was garbage, but it was meaningful garbage!

Charun later dismantled the sculpture piece by piece, because otherwise, they would have smashed it to bits.
