I’ve dealt with death, sickness, a formal mental health diagnosis ( ptsd + anxiety, not that that was a surprise ) issues with my family, theft, a broken laptop...I hit every branch of the bad luck tree. this blog was always my refuge, my safe space and you guys were always the most supportive bunch of friends and followers anyone could ever ask for. so I feel riddled with guilt for being gone so long with no word. to my writing partners  especially, I sincerely apologize and hope you can forgive me. I have missed all of you and my greatest wish is to rebuild this blog, with your help and support, for I have desperately missed writing Michael Darling more than I ever believed possible. thank you to those who have stuck with me and to those who ( totally understandably ) unfollowed I hope that I can earn you back. over the next week I’m going to be reaching out to former partners, seeing if any threads want to be kept or simply scrapped to start over afresh. I will be cleaning house, updating some things and  am hoping to be posting quality ( I hope! ) writing again by Monday. I am DEFINITELY looking for new threads and have so many ideas that I’m looking to bounce off people. with luck my little Darling will soon be flying again <3 sending so much love && happy thoughts to you all.  - Viola

i’m honestly in a state of shock because not only has it already been ONE WHOLE YEAR on this blog , but i’ve also somehow reached a whopping 1,000 OF YOU GUYS just a week prior to my anniversary . when i originally made uncas , i NEVER expected to have 100 followers , let alone the amount i’ve received now , so it’s safe to say that i’m absolutely floored ! but what i really want to say is how GRATEFUL i am for the love uncas has received in the past year of writing him . this has been one of the most positive roleplay experiences i’ve ever had , with some of the most top - notch blogs i’ve ever come across ! i appreciate EVERYONE who’s even given my blog the time of day , put up with my random bouts of disappearances , or have wanted to write with him at any point —— so a massive THANK YOU for that !
