New Blog: Wheel of Time Confessions
Hi Wheel of Time fandom! Welcome to the new WOT Confession blog! You can make confessions about the show or the books.
Some of you may be unfamiliar with what a confession blog is, it’s a blog where you send in your thoughts on wheel of time through the ask button (either on anon or not) and your ask will be reformatted and posted anonymously regardless of whether you used anon or not.
You might be wondering why you would want to submit a confession, here are some reasons:
- you don’t want to blog about wheel of time on your main blog
- you want to make a post without the pressure of dealing with the notifications
- you have trouble entering the fandom/feel anxious posting under your username
- you’re nervous about expressing an opinion that differs from the typical fandom narrative on tumblr
Now in order to make this blog work there are a few rules for confessions.
For this blog:
1. Confessions will always be anonymous even if it was sent in with a username attached.
2. In order to make this blog friendly to show-only users ‘wot book spoilers’ will be tagged on posts that include book spoilers.
3. Confessions will not be commented on by this blog, either in the negative or positive. Additionally, posting a confession does not mean this blog endorses the view espoused in the confession.
For you:
1. No bigotry is allowed in a confession, if you submit a confession that is hateful it will be deleted.
2. No calling out tumblr users by username in confessions, this is not a place to target other users. If you are using the confession to disagree with someone else’s post, please refer to the idea discussed, not the user, and be respectful.
More rules may be added in the future if there is a need.
Confession blogs were a staple of tumblr fandoms back in the day, and I hope that this blog will be a fun addition to the wheel of time fandom on tumblr!
